A two person team that work together.  They did such a great job of interior painting that I hired them to prep and paint my exterior trim including varnishing the front door, repairing/painting garage door and gutters, and repairing damaged crack stucco.

2 painters came to the house and painted my kitchen cabinets. First they removed the doors and then painted everything. They reinstalled the doors before they left.  They were very nice and did a great job.

I have hired painters twice in my life.  50 years ago I hired one to paint the exterior of our first home. When he took a break, I examined his work and fired him.  I told myself that even someone who had never painted (that was me) could do better.  We have owned six homes before this one, and I?ve painted all of the exteriors and interiors.  Well, hubby sometimes manned a roller, but I did all the prep, detailing, cutting in and most of the rolling. 
Recently we bought a long neglected Freddie Mac house with a combination cathedral and vaulted ceiling in the main room that is 15? at its highest point.  At the same time I became caretaker for my 95-year-old father, tore my Achilles tendon, got banned from ladders and discovered my time and energy to be in very short supply.
The second time I hired painters was when I saw a Big Deal for 2 painters for 8 hours each for $305.00 and purchased it.  John McClendon of Old World Finishes communicated promptly, and we talked at some length about the job, what I wanted him to accomplish, what types of paint he recommended, etc.  I emailed him pictures of the room, and reiterated that I mostly needed help with anything that required a ladder ? which was a large portion of the job.  A mutually agreeable date was set for the work.   
 
John and his painting partner of 5 years, Kim, arrived, scoped out the job site, went over exactly what I wanted done, set up their equipment, covered floors and other surfaces and got busy.  There was considerable water damage on two walls requiring a great deal of prep and matching an orange peel finish.  Later that day John voiced his concern that they weren?t going to be able to completely finish prepping and painting all the high areas.  We concurred that we wanted it done right, not fast, and settled on a price for them to return the next day. 
At the end of the second day they had made so much progress, that we asked them back for a third day to finish the room. They arrived in high gear, pumped and primed to get it done.  They left at 8:00 PM.
The room was a real challenge.  The floor plan is very open and the ?great" room includes the entryway, sunken living room, a conversation pit, two sided fireplace, several niches and an open kitchen.  The job was also complicated by the fact that the previous painter was sloppy, particularly when painting around the wooden ceiling beams.  John mixed paint to match the wood beams and did the necessary touch-ups, which was a major improvement in the look of the room. 
Kim and John were highly professional, very pleasant, neat and tidy and extremely hard working.  It?s hot and uncomfortable spending hours on ladders with your head next to a ceiling, but they displayed not a hint of a negative attitude.  Hire them again?  Absolutely! 

First want to say they did an excellent job of the work they completed. I couldnt have been happier. They covered textured ceiling and did trim lines beautifully. For that I would definitely hire them again. The deal stated they would provide basic supplies, but I had to let them use my trim tape because they didn't have enough. I guess that was OK, but what dropped the overall to a "B" was timing and completion. They worked right up to the hour limit and then the owner told me they didn't have time to finish and clean things up...that they would stay to do it but it would cost me another $75. I decided to pay it just to get things done. I was working on my garden when they left, so didn't check the work (my bad). Much to my surprise, at least a quarter of the hallway ceiling had been left unpainted and parts of the floor still had debris that wasn't vacumed up. I thought that's why I paid the extra $75! To have the job "completed". The owner and his partner were really nice people and as I said, did a great job of the work that was actually completed. But, If I did use then again, I would make sure we agreed on what was expected and that there would be no surprises.

They did an excellent job. All of the holes were repaired. We had water damage around the window and they repaired the damage before they painted the wall.

The provider was prompt, friendly, and punctual.  The quality of work was exceptional.  I can't believe all the work they accomplished in eight hours; furthermore, they were very thorough and clean.  The interior of the house looked like new when they were done.

  It went very well.  They covered furnishings and taped off edges very well and cleaned up completely when they finished.
   I have no reservations about their work and would recommend them unconditionally. John and Kim are a good team!

John and Kim did an amazing job. The fireplace looks amazing. It is silky-smooth to touch, It catches the light and is a focal point on the room. They were prompt every morning, cleaned up after themselves and were very nice people to have in the house for two days. I would absolutely recommend them to others for similar work.

John and his assistant were amazing! I would highly recommend them for specialized wall treatments. John met with us multiple times before we even officially decided to proceed with the work. He assisted in providing us with ideas and worked with our tastes and desires for the room. He provided custom samples of the work to be done in our room, and only after we were comfortable with all of the parts of the projects, did we sign off on the contract.
John and his assistant were incredibly hard and meticulous workers. They worked long hours to complete the project as quickly as they could (which we appreciated, given much of our house was understandably disrupted by the process). And although they worked fast, the quality of the work did not suffer. Quite the opposite - the quality of the work was among the best home improvement work that I have ever had done. I am a bit of a perfectionist and was pleased to find that they were as well. The work looked great as they went along, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much attention to detail they also spent toward the end of the project, making sure everything was perfect. The living room looks stunning thanks to their efforts! I would highly recommend them and would absolutely use them again!

It was wonderful.  They were very professional and prompt.  They were very meticulous in their work.  They cleaned up after themselves.  They stayed within the quote.  Their work is phenomenal.  I highly recommend them.
