I find the locations convenient, as well as the hours.

The experience I had as a member was both good and bad.  I enjoyed the treadmills, but many of them were out of service.  Repairs were not made quickly when a machine broke down.  The televisions above the treadmills were nice to watch.  The pool needed to have a lifeguard present at all times for the safety of members.  A lifeguard was only present intermittently.  When a lifeguard was not on duty, a sign was placed near the pool stating that there was no lifeguard.  If a member should have an injury or get sick while in the pool, they are out of luck.  When I worked out at the Burbank YMCA in California, no one was allowed to use the pool if a lifeguard was not there to supervise use of the pool, and I think that is a good rule.  There was also an exercise class on Saturday mornings with a boom box there for music.  If music is to be used near a pool, there should be batteries in the music player instead of a long extension cord attached to the boom box because water and electricity are not a good combination.
