This company was fast and efficient with coming to my property and giving me a quote. After that is a nightmare. The owner said that they would be out in about three weeks to complete the ordered work. five weeks later I called because I had not heard anything from them. Michelle From the office said that she would have them call me. I waited a week and called again. Michelle stated that they were coming next week but that they would call to talk about it. Three weeks later without a call and I contacted them again, no response. 9 weeks into the three weeks they showed up to my home with out telling me what was going on or what they were doing. They drained the pool on Monday but did not come back Tuesday. Yet again I called to get details no one returned the message. They showed up on Wed. and started the tile. They did not come on Thursday. I called no response. Friday they showed up to finish the tile. They left garbage in my pool and around. I had to clean the foul smelling water and debris in my pool. There was metal in the bottom which permanently damaged the plaster. I spent 4 hours cleaning up after them. I called to at least talk about it and no phone call again. The tile looks nice but the grout is uneven in places. I know that things happen and plans change but the significant unprofessionalism of this company astounds me. I cant believe that they are still in business. I hope that no one has to deal with the same experience that I had. Above all else I would have appreciated communication. I have been waiting for a call for a month and a half, but I guess the review will have to do.

They're good people. We like them. They're very prompt. They don't ring the doorbell and bother your and ask you twenty questions, they just go do the job and it's done and everything's great. They were just very professional by getting the job done quickly. Their price was very reasonable. They fit us in and made it happen.

First let me say that if it were possible to give a grade higher than an A they would be the company that would get the A PLUS.  The owner of the company Robert Horne came to my home to repair a small plumbing problem with my pump.  He ended up rebuilding the pump plumbing to make it more efficient and user friendly for me now and in the future.  Along the way he gave advice on the upkeep on my newly plastered pool.  I asked about a pool cover and what to do for winterizing my pool.  Robert took extra time to walk me through the steps for winterizing and will be providing the pool cover. 
I have called their company several times to ask questions and each and every time I was made to feel like I was their most important customer and family.
I would ABSOLUTELY recommend to anyone building a pool to contact them.  There is no doubt in my mind that this is the best company in the business and they will be there not only now but in the future for any additional items that owners will need.

They claimed they would leave everything the way it was when they got there after the piping job.  They failed to cover anything and just spray spackled everywhere. 
We had major cleaning to do everywhere they did anything in the entire house.  No consideration was given for cleanliness. 
They failed to complete on schedule by literally months, even with us hounding them to do so.  The said they should be done in 3 weeks.  They began in October and did not finish until March with the final work. 
The tankless water heater was not piped correctly and they told us we could just blow out the pipes every so often to remove the condensation.
The evaporative air cooling (swamp cooler) was not hooked back up in the attic, noted by the person that services ours twice a year, so we had to have them come back out to correct that.
They asked for half down and half upon completion and constantly asked for more money throughout the entire job.  The workers told us he (Louie, the foreman) was not paying them.  One of them took all of Louie's equipment and told him he was not giving it back until he got paid.
There were days at a time where they would not show up.  It was just a nightmare.  I would never ever recommend working with NM Spa and Pools - and Louie specifically - EVER.

He came to house when we were at work.  He called me to let me know it was done and when I got home, sure enough the pool was running and heating up.

I hired them after finding them on Angie's List. I previously had a pool serviceman come out to repair my pump and install new piping. The man ended up ripping out all the piping and I had New Mexico Pools come out to repair and reconfigure what he had broken. They were very responsive and professional. They did a very good job with the work and the cleaning.

They were available on such short notice, showed up on time, finished the job in a timely manner.  I would recommend to anyone else.

Good solid work, explained the project in detail, showed up on time and completed work at the long end of their estimate. I was very satisfied with the results. Nice people to work with.

We began this project last fall/winter.  In the spring of this year, the pool was opened for the first time.  Not only is it beautiful beyond words, but it is also virtually maintenance free because we followed their recommendations and opted for the in floor cleaner, power cover, auto fill, solar heater (extends swimming season), ozonator and freeze protector.  Basically besides some simple chemical testing each week, we simply swim and enjoy over and over again.  Robert was able to design a pool for a space riddled with challenges because of overhead wires, and narrow lot size.  Everyone else we spoke to basically told us our only option was a lap pool.  But because of Robert's design and expertise, we have an 11 x 32 piece of artwork.  Chris Lambie was instrumental throughout the process.  He understood from the very beginning what we were looking for and helped us achieve it.  Lastly, Doug, their service guru gave us a complete orientation at the completion of start up and has been extremely responsive to our "new owner" questions.

They helped us realize a dream we thought was beyond our grasp.  We will forever be grateful.
