While we did get what we ordered, we needed extra drawer handles. We understand those have to be special ordered however we have received no follow-up from the store nor have they answered any of our phone calls. I have to give them an exceedingly low rating for service and would not recommend utilizing them. This gives me the same pause in selecting them for an outdoor fireplace. I don’t know that Intermountain would necessarily be better but I cannot recommend Fireplace Gallary at this point. I think they are demonstrating a propensity for poor service based on previous reviews which echo our concerns.

The young men who installed the fireplace installed the wrong unit. Initially the wiring was put in upside down and they had to break through the new drywall to fix and then patch the hole. The wood accent piece is crooked, but could not be straightened because the metal key used to turn on the gas was positioned in such a way that it could not be moved without a lot of disruption. I was given a small discount and many apologies for all of the hassles, but in retrospect I paid too much for the finished product. The team was very nice and responsive, but in the end that does not makeup for the hassle.

We were thinking of either removing our old inefficient gas fireplace and to either wall up the opening or replace it with something more attractive and functional. Dean presented us with several options to consider, while we decided that surrounding it with a brick veneer and installing a new mantle would make it even more attractive. After Dean made two trips to make sure that we were all on the same page with the construction project, we selected the brick style and scheduled the installation just before Easter Sunday. His team of experts arrived exactly on time, they were very professional and even placed several drop cloths, from the front door to the living room, to keep from tracking in dirt and dust from outside. They managed to remove the old fireplace and install the new fireplace, with a new stove pipe and mantle in one day. The brick veneer was actually manufactured in New Mexico and ready, for pick-up and delivery, a few days later. The entire job only took about three working days and was completed before Easter Sunday. We now have a beautiful new and even remotely controlled fireplace - thanks to the workmanship of Russell, Andrew and Marcus, as well as to Dean.

pretty well. The first fireplace they received was damaged. They reviewed that situation with us before coming out to do the installation. We decided that ordering a new one was the option we wanted. That did delay the installation but it was the right thing to do. We might never have noticed the damage as it wasn't visible unless the bottom panel was removed. However Dean gave us the option of accepting it as it was or replacing the damaged one with a new one.

The workmen arrived on time, and did the job with minimal fuss. They cleaned up, were kind to our dog, and were pleasant to have around. Dean, the owner, helped to plan and select products. It was an all around good experience, and we love our new fireplace.

Visited New Mexico Fireplace Gallery in search of a new fireplace, didn't know exactly what we wanted at the time. Dean (owner) showed us the different types of fireplaces available and we ultimately picked the vent-free linear gas fireplace. Dean was very knowledgeable about the various fireplace options he presented and was easy to work with. Being that Dean and his crew installed the fireplaces he sold, we decided to get a quote for installation and re-tile. We went with Dean's quote for the demolition of the existing fireplace and tiled wall with installation of new linear fireplace and re-tile. Let me just say that Dean and his associate Tony are two of the best contractors we have had the pleasure of working with. Tony did the tile work and fireplace installation and did a fabulous job. I would recommend this company to anyone in search of a fireplace installation/replacement.

We were freezing. The cold air flowing down the chimney into the living room made the first floor in our new house uninhabitable. From the time we entered NM Fireplace Gallery until the install was complete, the owner Dean was helpful, prompt, and professional. He helped us select the right fireplace and guided us through decisions on the old chimney and hearth. The quote even included a photo shop mockup of the finished install. We were struggling with how to finish around the fireplace, so Dean showed up one evening with a sample of travertine tile he found at Lowe's that he thought would work well in our living room. It was perfect. He even went so far as to buy the tile and simply gave us the Lowe's receipt. Our tile guys then finished around the fireplace and it is beautiful. Most importantly, the first floor is warm and cozy.
After the old fireplace was removed by his sub-contractor, we found the exterior walls were not insulated. The sub stopped work, drove to Home Depot to purchase insulation, then insulated the space before continuing. We were simply asked to reimburse the additional out of pocket cost. So, now not only is the first floor warm in the winter, the living room is actually much quieter.
