About us
I founded Nerds Limited after college with the notion that no single company offers affordable in-home tech support for computers AND software, not to mention home networking, cell phones, cameras, and iPods. The frustration of trying to get a clear answer from a single company alone is enough of an ordeal; but when multiple services and companies are involved (for example, "Why doesn't my internet work?") getting a strait answer can be nearly impossible. I spend about two hours per day researching the latest in nearly all consumer grade electronics from individual system components (Intel's new i Series processor), to the free and legal software alternative to nearly any program. Much of what I do is teaching. I love to explain technical jargon in and help families understand the cause of their computer performance issues. After all, the best defense is good judgment! The nitty gritty: Nerds Limited charges a fixed flat rate per hour. We Accept all major credit cards with a 2.83% service fee (don't worry, checks are always free). We do not charge for travel time, mileage or phone time. So if you have a quick question, simply call and ask!

Jason takes the time, in fact insists on the time to show the customer what he has done, why he did it and how to keep the repair or update working. I'm a little slow on that part, because I don't remember as much as he tells me. But it's all very transparent, which I like.
Jason got me ready for an important trip I'm about to take, with a heavy workload when I arrive. I'm glad he has taken the time to really master his craft and that he gets right to work when he arrives. It was only a little bit of my evening and now my computers are behaving.

You cut our session short to go salsa dancing with your wife before we could finish the four items you asked that we address. In my email, I also included my original reply to your ultimatum that I either issue a full refund or return to finish the job at no cost. What stuff did I sell you that didn't work? I rarely if ever sell parts. The Mackie sound card was an extremely rare exception which we never actually set up. We built an entire computer from scratch together and I genuinely enjoyed it! What happened?
