We've been using this company for appliance repair(s) for over 10yrs, they've repaired every appliance in our home (Stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine and yesterday the dryer). On time and do what they say they can do, no double talk and you will get what you pay for.

Joe and his partner were terrific!  Each came at different times because of the way they divide up the work week and fill in for each other.  Both were right on time, very diligent in examining and diagnosing the problem.  They ended up having to come three times in order to try three different parts and got it fixed.  They worked with our complicated work schedules and repaired the washer perfectly.  We thought the price was quite reasonable, and we were very pleased.  A friend had recommended them to us, and we would sure recommend them to others.

It went fine.  We have been using them for over 15 years. There is pricing is very fair. Our dryer has some unique parts and when Mountain Valley has to order a replacement part they work really hard to get that done and get back to us to install the part and get everything running, so a lot of the time it takes two visits.  Unlike plumbers I have used who charge a service charge for the first and second visit, Mountain Valley never does, which I appreciate.

I've been using them now probably for about 7 or 8 months. They've repaired 2 washers and a refrigerator. I think they're great. I think they're a good local business. I think they're priced right and they do good work. You should use them.

I've used Mountain Valley in the past and absolutely love them.  Gary has worked on our Washer and Dryer, our old dishwasher and our fridge.  He has made appliance recommendations and even recommended what kind of dishwasher options to have when we were considering a new dishwasher.  He fixed our dryer in two days!  Great guy and I recommend Mountain Valley to all of our friends.  Courteous, nice, punctual and respectful.  Definitely treat their customers like extensions of their family!!!

They were really good. He didn't end up charging me anything because he was able to tell me what was wrong, and then I just ordered the part and did it myself. So it was really easy. He was really nice and didn't charge me anything. I even have this thing where he wrote that it will not turn on and that the dial just turned. He said that the knob was broken. I just ordered new knobs. He told me where to go and didn't charge me anything. He didn't even charge me for coming out. He was really nice. He had his son with him, and they were really nice. They are very honest, very polite and knowledgeable. My overall experience with him was the best.

To be honest with you, I would give them an A all the way down the line. They were just wonderful and they took care of it. He came out twice because he didn't have the part on him.

I'am giving Mountain Valley a very good report, even though they did not fix my problem. My 1 yr. old Sears Kenmore Elite washer has been shutting down 2-3 times per load, with an 'uneven load' indicator error message. Several attempts by Sears to fix the problem, with no results (they said my floor was uneven). I called Mountain Valley on a whim (after reading Angie's). Robert arrived on time and was extremely pleasant. He worked for nearly 1.5 hours and made several phone calls to sears to get additional infer. The result is that there is a major rebuild order on this washer that will cost nearly $400.00 IN PARTS ONLY (no wonder Sears did not want to fix it). So at least I now know what is going on and will try to deal with Sears to get this fixed. The best part of my experience is that Mountain Valley did not charge me for their time. You know...sometimes there is no substituting for good old fashioned service. I would call Mountain Valley again should I need repair.

I watched the repairman and was impressed with his efficiency and professionalism. He offered me some interesting opinions about the brand quality of today's refrigerators. I appreciated the repairman's insights. He checked behind the refrigerator to make sure the water connection hose was up to par. I consider this repairman to be a true professional. Unfortunately I cannot remember his name nor can I decode his signature on the work receipt.

Richard came to repair a ten-year washing machine that was no longer spinning. He replaced the part and was professional in his explanation of the problem and the costs of repairs. I agreed to repairs and paid the $280 bill. After I washed the first load in my repaired machine, water drained directly onto the floor. I called Richard back, thinking that he must not have connected the hose correctly or some such. Upon his return, we discovered that the leak was due to a faulty pump, which had nothing to do with the original problem. However, Richard did not charge me for a new service call and sold me the new pump at his price. I was amazed and grateful and will be certain to call Valley Appliance Repair again for any of my appliance repair needs.

We had a build-up of soap scum and paper (probably labels from jars we washed) in the drain part of the dishwasher. Not only did Francis clean up the drain parts of the dishwasher to get it cleaning properly, he also advised me to use less dish detergent. He told me that recently dish detergents had stopped using phosphates for cleaning, and that this was one of the reasons my dishes weren't as clean. Also, not as much detergent is needed in these newer, more water efficient washers. Additionally he advised me a mug full of vinegar on the top rack would help clear off the filmy buildup already on my dishes and glassware. My dishes have never been cleaner in this dishwasher after following Francis' advice and his repair work. Further, he gave me information on how I could myself repair a microwave oven. Mountain Valley doesn't service that type of microwave, and he gave me a list of places to look for parts and advice on how to change out a part myself. Very helpful, very honest, very affordable. I will absolutely call Mountain Valley again if I have another appliance repair need.

The dishwasher took several months to fix because they would order the wrong parts, they would send out different technicians and one would say it was one thing while the other said it was another problem, and they could not agree on what was actually broken. It was an intermittent problem because if one came out and saw nothing they did not want to do anything. I don't know if it was the warranty company, the appliance or both. The stove was also a problem and it still goes in and out. It was just kind of frustrating they did not keep the same technicians. They were not organized. They did not want to do the work. I do not know if it was because it was warranty work. It was just long and involved.

I think they are honest. The quality of their work is good. It wasn't clear what was wrong but he tried something it worked half way. He will come back and fix it fully.

OVERALL THEY DID A GOOD JOB HOWEVER I WAS A LITTLE PERTURBED ABOUT THE MAN THAT CAME TO DO THE SERVICE. HE DIDN'T OFFER TO PLACE THE OVEN BACK ON A SHELF I HAD PLACED FOR THE STOVE TO SIT ON OR MOVE THE FURNITURE BACK.
