He received his appliance repair training from Raker Appliance Repair in the Baltimore Maryland area and continues his education by regularly attending Industry Conferences and networking both locally and nationally with his colleagues.

Excellent. Tim replaced a control board in the dryer, tested the ice maker, had an ice maker in his truck and installed new ice maker. He explained the work before he performed, discussed pricing of the options and did an overall excellent job.

Tim came within an hour of talking with me on the phone. He quickly assessed the issue and fixed the washing machine. Additionally, he gave me some advice on things to watch for in maintaining my machine. Tim was pleasant , professional and knowledgeable. I would hire him again without question.

Tech (Tim), arrived on time and fixed all the issues in an very expedient manner. He also rerouted the dryer vent and made sure it was working properly and the vent to the roof was cleaned out. More than pleased with the level of service and professionalism.

Tim Marshall, owner, and appliance medic, did a wonderful job! He promptly diagnosed the problem with our washing machine and had it up and running a short time later. No more water on the floor!! Work and repairs went very well. Tim not only did the work needed, but went above and beyond and serviced all the door seals too, just to make sure the machine would continue to operate as expected into the future. Would not hesitate to use this outfit again for appliance repair work.

Great experience and super service! The oven control panel had to be replaced; Tim checked to be sure it was getting power, then replaced the control panel and it works perfectly now! Also, I thought I needed a new icemaker in a 3-year old LG fridge, but Tim looked at it and realized that one of the arms that pushes out the ice cubes was bent over another arm. He straightened it out and that enabled it to recycle and start working again! So he saved me from replacing an expensive part. Tim proves that there are still reasonable and honest repair people out there. Thanks to Angie's List, I found a gem who will now be my go-to guy for all appliance repairs I need!

Marshall Repair quickly got me on their schedule on the same day I called requesting someone to fix my dryer which wasn't heating. He showed up on time with the necessary parts and the repair was completed within an hour. The bonus was when he showed me how to repair a handle on my microwave and helped me order the handle online - without any additional charge. Great service!

Tim took the dryer apart and replaced several parts that were worn and causing the noise. He also fixed the part of the dryer that caused the timer malfunction.

Tim first tested the oven to confirm it was failing to heat. He then pulled the oven from the wall cabinet and diagnosed the problem. Tim tested the oven wiring and found a failure in the timer control. Tim found the oven control thermostat still good and realized he had to bypass the timer. as this is an old oven (nearly 70 years old) and the timer/thermostat part is no longer available. Thus bypassing the timer is the only viable option to create a working oven. Tim bypassed the timer and then tested the oven to ensure it functioned normally. I am quite happy there is a working oven in the house. Tim's ingenious work around saved me replacement of the oven which would have entailed ripping out cabinets and installing a stand-alone oven and building cabinets in place of the wall oven. As the cabinets are solid wood from the early 1960, replacement would have resulted in a kitchen remodel which would have likely led to a multi-month, multiple thousands of dollars expense I want to postpone as long as possible.

IThis wasn't urgent so I scheduled a call for several days later. Mr. Marshall came today (on time) and after only a few minutes knew what the problem was. He had to replace my ice maker and had the correct one in his truck. Then I mentioned to him that the french doors don't always close properly and it was a simple fix. He adjusted the feet on the refrigerator and now they work great.

I was surprised that Mr. Marshall would come over on the weekend, during his non-business hours, to resolve my problem with the washing machine immediately. The price was quite reasonable. As an Angie's List member, I also received a 10% discount. I would not hesitate to use Marshall Appliance Repair again.
