Mr Lopez arrived on time to do the estimate.  He communicated about the times he would arrive and almost always was there at about that time.  In my opinion this was a difficult and labor intensive job.  There is a lot of plaster dust in the demolition phase.  Mr Lopez covered the floor and kept the bathroom door closed while he worked, to minimize the plaster dust and noise both of which were plentiful. I don't think I've  seen a better work ethic, or more commitment to completing a well done job.  Mr. Lopez has an artistic eye, and was great to consult with.  He respected my wishes, but when there was some give, he gave me sage advice on what might be appealing and economical for a the sale of my home, and advice as to options regarding aesthetics.  The final price was much more reasonable than the other two estimates I got.  Really, this guy is just great.  

Mr Lopez was on time for the estimate appointment.  His initial estimate was low but he did some figuring and gave me a higher estimate which I see as very reasonable.  We decided to add some items later and it wound up costing more, but still very reasonable, and lower than two other companies who gave bids.  He almost always came when he said he would (always came, once was a bit late) . He called if he needed to work at unscheduled times in order to coordinate with other workers.  He  often worked late and even came on the weekend in order to finish the job.  In my opinion this was a messy and labor intensive job.  Mr. Lopez put protective covering on the floor and kept the bathroom door closed which helped reduce plaster and noise in the house.  He offered his expert opinion regarding aesthetic choices and respected my preferences.  When he ordered one type of shower door because of my stated preference, I didn't like the door.  He encouraged me to get a change to what I would like, though it meant returning the door and getting another because "I want you to be happy". Between the two  of us, the  result was just lovely.  He is a master craftsman and I suspect truly an artist.  He works incredibly hard and was very pleasant , respectful, professional and personable throughout the whole process.
