I did not know they were going out of business so I had been keeping in close contact with the head gentleman that is doing the liquidation for Lauren Home. So, I am keeping tabs with him. I went in and he called to find out the status of my furniture. It is finished and it should be shipped on October 13. I am to call them after that to get a tracking number. The cost is kind of high, but I got a very good deal.

The order process was quick and simple, in September 2013.  I provided the list of pieces we wanted and our agent gave us an 8-12 week estimate for delivery.  50% down payment.  Unfortunately, that is where the ease ended.  At the 8 and 12 week marks, we were told that they couldn't get an update on the status of the furniture.  At month 4, we received a call that the desk was not available.  In month 5, we were finally informed that the product was discontinued and that they were having a hard time finding the desk chair.  The available pieces arrived in month 6 but there were many problems (damaged pieces, improperly assembled pieces, pieces that couldn't be assembled).  Replacement parts were ordered, but at month 7.5 we continue to be told that the replacement parts are showing as ready to ship but they don't know why it hasn't shipped.  It has been impossible to get people to return phone calls to the point that I am now going to the store, in person, daily, to check on status.
