The job was not completed. Damage was done to existing landscaping and property that the company neither admitted or corrected. Purchased plants were not planted, and disappeared; again, the company would have never even told me if I had not noticed all plants had not been planted. It was only after I addressed this that they offered only to reduce the cost from my bill, rather than get another plant and plant it according to our agreement. They slashed my garden hose, rendering it garbage, and did not tell me (this I discovered 5 minutes after they left the property). There were several severely damaged stepping stones (as a result of having heavy trucks delivering rock) that were neither replaced nor removed. They just left them all tumbled and upside down and sticking up with jagged edges. They did not bury the tubing for the new drip system, rather left it exposed to the sun and interference with foot traffic. They left trimmings and weeds all over the property, and some weeds stuffed in a box and left on the sidewalk. Part of the contract was for them to haul off debris from the yard, to include piles of wood and broken concrete blocks, etc. However, they sullenly took only the wood, then said they could not haul the broken pieces of cement because the site for dumping was too far for them to drive. In addition, they left all the removed stone works (as a result of the new landscaping scheme) which further added to what was supposed to be hauled away. In addition, there was no misunderstanding by me that they were to filter all the existing rock and replace with new plastic weed barrier. However, 2 days into the job it did not appear they were going to do that and I asked them when it would be done. It was then I was told that they were going to filter and replace plastic on only certain sections of the property, not all of it; that they would just pull up weeds where they were not going to filter. It was more than half of the existing rocks that were not filtered or plastic replaced. I was astounded, but they refused and said it was discussed that only parts would be done, which was never ever the case. The written estimate was merely written "filter rocks and replace fabric. Their resolution to all my concerns was that they would reduce the agreed-upon fee of 4825.00 to 4400.00. I told them I would rather pay the full price and have all the work completed, but they refused, and threatened to have their lawyer contact me. I told them that would be fine with me, please do, since I would be ready with pictures of their incomplete, sloppy, and unprofessional "job."

They showed up and went right to work, I didn't even know they were here. There was no wasted time or effort the entire job took a little more than a day. Temps. were in the 90's but these guys didn't slow down. They cleaned up at the end of the day and did excellent work.
