Our water heater gave out, which in turn flooded our master bedroom. While a crew was working on drying out our home, I enrolled in Angie's List and found Ed Knight. I gave him a call and he was able to come out the same day to give us a free estimate - he was by far the most affordable and VERY knowledgeable. We got estimates from 3 companies total - all three told us the SAME EXACT work that needed to be completed; but his pricing was the best (the other 2 companies are not on Angie's List). Because it was so late in the afternoon, Ed was not able to install a new water heater for us until the next day, but he was kindly was able to make a few tweaks to allow us to have water in the rest of our home (cold only of course) to get us through the evening. He and his assistant Bud came out to our home the next morning (on time) and both got to work quickly. They took the time to properly update our water heater pipes and valves so that everything was up to code. Ed had to leave to respond to an emergency call, and Bud stayed to finish up the final touches. Bud took the time to educate me on our brand new 50 gal. water heater and all of its modern functions (which I later schooled my husband on). Bud also did a courtesy check of our furnace (they share the same closet) to ensure it wasn't damaged by the water and he gave me some pointers on buying new filters for our furnace. I gave them a and quot;Band quot; for Punctuality because he wasn't too timely in responding to my calls/or returning my calls; but other than that, everything went as planned - even better! This is a great team! I highly recommend them and we will definitely use them in the future.

Very well, they were very thorough in their leak detection techniques and discovered the source in a short amount of time. They were able to contain the leak and provide some good options for repair. They were very professional, performed high quality work, and left the work area clean. I was very satisfied and will use them in the future for my plumbing needs.

Ed Knight did a good job. He does the work himself, and is very knowledgeable and friendly. He works around your schedule well. He gives you a fair price, and he's very helpful and tells you what needs to be done.
