KEN'S CUSTOM TILE

Our shower stall had had grout cracking and drainage problems for years, and it began leaking into our bedroom over the summer. I did some research online to scope out the work that would be required to do a complete shower rebuild, and ultimately decided to call in a contractor rather than attempt it myself. My wife and I solicited estimates from multiple contractors and decided to go with Ken's Custom Tile because of their price (lowest bidder) and the professionalism of Ken Saavedra, their proprietor. Ken did all the work himself. He was extremely careful and thorough; he clearly took pride in his work, and he took the time and effort to do a complete and extremely impressive job. I had learned enough online about shower repair to see that Ken was doing an excellent job. He was not cutting any corners, even on details that would have been hidden underneath the finished tile and grout work. He also took the time to address my questions about his techniques and materials. The finished product was beautiful, and it is nice to know that the handiwork that went into it was top-notch. My one minor criticism is that Ken was not as speedy or punctual as he might have been -- he began work one day later than he originally planned, showed up later than planned some days, and the job ended up taking almost two weeks instead of the one week he originally projected. In Ken's defense, I made it clear up front that we were more concerned with quality than timeliness, and my interaction with Ken over the course of the job only reinforced this emphasis. In any case, the finished product was well worth waiting for. I would recommend Ken Saavedra and Ken's Custom Tile without reservation.
