I’ve hired Ken before on electrical projects including installing new wiring and lighting for my kitchen and hanging new light fixtures and fans. This time he installed new electrical service. He ran new circuit for the furnace/air conditioning unit, including hooking up the new unit. Before the job, he explained everything involved including time frame, inspections, etc. He does an excellent job. I never have to be concerned about having the job done correctly and on time. I guess others are in agreement; he got a “mention” in the 2016 Albuquerque Journal’s Peoples Choice Awards list.

Ken made suggestions for new recessed kitchen lighting. He was spot on with placement. The kitchen looks great and has been transformed from dim light and shadows to a kitchen where you can see what you're doing. He installed new fixtures and fixed fans that were noisy/not working well. He also noticed a bathroom switch that needed to be brought up to code. Ken is very conscientious and does a thorough job. This is the second time I've hired him. And of course whenever I need electrical work done, I will again hire him.

One pair of fluorescent bulbs in a kitchen overhead light fixture stopped working. We scheduled an appointment with Ken and talked some about the problem that we were having. He knew exactly what the issue was and arrived with the parts necessary to fix the problem. He was in and out very quickly, and left a clean area. Very professional and knowledgeable. We will certainly call him the next time we required electric work done.

Ken came over and gave us an estimate. At that time he also gave us a heads up about the possibility of needing to replace the old dimmer for an LED dimmer for our new dining room light fixture.
Based on both his knowledge and his prices, we hired Ken. We are extremely happy with the work that he performed. He showed up on time. He positioned the dining room light and the new ceiling fan for us before doing the installation to ensure that both fixtures were at the height that we wanted. He was prepared and had everything with him needed to complete the job. He also spent the time demonstrating the new light dimmer and explaining how to set the new fan remote control, including for additional fans. Ken did a very thorough job and our new fixtures look great! We will definitely refer him to our friends and hire him again for any of our electrical needs.

Fantastic- Ken first came and gave us a quote for the work. We'd had several other electricians look at our living room and all wanted to tear out a bunch of drywall, run wires behind the wall and then use wire conduit to reach the middle of our exposed wood ceiling. Ken, unlike the other electricians, was willing to look into whether it'd be possible to fish a wire above the ceiling to the spots we wanted to add track lighting. He quickly figured out that it was possible- saving us lots of money and damage to our walls.
Ken added the ceiling lights and fan enclosures perfectly, quickly and on budget in our three bedrooms. He walked me through how to install the fixtures we'd not yet purchased and happily answered some extra questions I had after-the-fact.
Ken also installed two rows of track lighting, taking as much care in his work as I imagine he would working on his own house. He spent extra time making sure the tracks were straight and that our pendant lamps aligned just right..

I met Ken through a personal reference and am extremely pleased with the services I received. Ken has a vast amount of experience and was the right choice to help me replace the original electrical system from 1957. He replaced the the old 60 amp service with 220 amp and the breaker panel. He installed outlets and light fixtures in the garage, installed an outlet in the bathroom, and a thermostat for the cooler. He kept coming across multiple spliced wires and open j- boxes in the attic space and fixed everything up to code. He was prompt, professional and great to work with. The price was extremely reasonable and I had expected to pay much more than I did. I have already given 4 people his number and will definitely use his services again. If you are looking for an honest, fair, expert electrician, don't bother looking further. Call Ken!

They were professional! They were patient and explained my problem to me. They were clean. The technician brought his own cloth and cleaned everything up. The owner, Ken Kerbo, performed the work, and wired multiple rooms and installed ceiling fans and lighting. He navigated our attic space as necessary and essentially made it all come together. He was very professional and pleasing and did not complain when asked to redo other options for completed work. All-in-all, the kind of contractor that is responsive to the customer. His reputation precedes him, and he was recommended to us. We are not disappointed. Others may be cheaper, but his work and attitude would be hard to beat. You pay for what you get, and he is the best in skill and his many years of knowledge. He gave us exactly what we wanted. We would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Ken is the best electrician in Albuquerque! He is courteous, on-time, very professional and treats each job with the same care that he would take if he were working on his own home. Ken is thorough, does not waste time and makes sure the job is done right in order to satisfy the customer. This is the third project that Ken has completed for me and each job has been completed to perfection.
