We started our search for a home in March and had a very specific area and price point that we wanted/needed to meet. I think we saw at least 40 homes over a 5 month period and Maureen was patient throughout this process - we had our minds set on a certain type of home. Maureen set us up on a "drip system" which gave us access to all the homes available in the market and which updated us on a daily basis if new homes were added. This was a great way for us to house hunt on our own schedule and be flexible about what homes interested us and which did not. Once we saw a home that sparked our interest, Maureen always met us within a day to see the home, or homes as the case often was. We finally found a home in our desired location and within our desired price point and we placed a offer. Unfortunately, the sellers had little desire to negotiate and after 2 weeks we were unable to close the deal. Maureen was amazing at managing this back and forth and she represented us well with the other party. In the end it was our decision not buy and that same day another home, just 1 blcok away, went on the market. Despite the previous two weeks, Maureen helped us get an offer in by the end of the day and thanks to her timeily response, we were the first in the door and our offer was accepted. By the end of this process, Marueen had become a very very good friend and it was apparent that she was as much invested in finding us the right house at the right price as we were. I had the chance to meet a number of realtors during those months and each one made me feel a little happier and secure about the fact that Maureen was with us. Both she and Joe are excellent people, honest, hard working realtors, who understand the market and understand their clients on both the sell and buy side.
