Andrew the Manager is Terrible at Solving Problems. Tore a Hole in a 400 Dollar Chair, Damaged a Door Jam Forcing that Chair into a Room and Hit My Fence Gate leaving. I IMMEDIATELY texted him with Pictures of all the Damages. This was 12/1/22. His Response? NOTHING!!!

Destroyed property, gouged walls in brand new house. Andrew the owner said to put paint on it, in holes on the walls! No amount of paint will fill a hole. Scratches and broken furniture, dragged the mattresses on the ground! It gets worse. When leaving they ran over our fence. Called Andrew and he hung up on us! His driver called and told him what happened. He called and said he CANT afford to repair it!!!! Then hung up. Then he called his driver and they just took off! If you value your property or your belongings DO NOT hire them. Paid $2000 and he didn't even finish the job.

We had used Joe's Movers several times in the past and been very happy with them.    This time was  very bad.  We had the men move bedroom furniture and office furniture out of two bedrooms so we could replace the carpet.  We were told that the rate would be $85.00 per hour with a 2 1/2 hour minimum.  They were late because they went to my husband's office address instead of the home address.  They spent 45 minutes moving the furniture and in the process broke the door off the armoire (they did have it glued back together and returned it 10 days later) and dropped the tv on the floor.  Then they charged usn $95.00 per hour for a two and one half hour minimum plus 1/2 hour travel time and a fuel charge!  We were not offered a senior discount and only learned about that later.  Also the owner asked us to pay in cash which is odd.  Overall, I recommend that people find another company.

They were fantastic.  They came when they said they will come.  They moved the stuffs.  They are careful and courteous.  We packed our own stuffs, so I don't know if they do packing.  They were very competitive in price.  In fact, they were cheaper than lot of movers, but they were really good.  They moved my husband's office too.  They were incredibly professional.

Furniture was scratched and chunks of furniture was missing. Movers were slow. Movers demanded a tip. Will never use this company again.

The manager provided a written estimate for $6-700. We agreed that I would have $600 cash for the moving day and that any overage I could pay by check later. I requested a 3rd mover and was warned there would likely be a higher fee. On the day of the move, two movers arrived punctually (a third mover was not available). The move took longer than expected and I was given a bill for $1100. There was a lengthy process at the end of the long day wherein the movers needed to contact a manager to accept the $600.00 and then to communicate my dissatisfaction with the large discrepancy between the estimate and the actual cost. When I did speak with the manager two days later, we had both arrived at compromise of us splitting the difference and it was a pleasant conversation. I have only found a few things broken (probably due to my packing) and felt the movers to be professional.

This is a local business that you can depend on to move your boxes and furniture without breaking things.
