I recently hired Jimmy for some Spring yard clean-up for a rental property. Jimmy is very thorough. He met with me to discuss needs and expectations. He keeps in touch and communicates when he is going to do the work, if he is going to be late, or if there are reasons (like high winds) that might make the work less beneficial than expected. He shows up when he says he will. I expect to use Jimmy for other yard maintenance projects.

Jimmy has been working with us for over 10 years. We have had up to 6 rental properties that have all benefitted from his attention and care. Jimmy is thorough, knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. You may scratch your head when you see him roll up in 4 door Mercury and not a pickup. I asked Jimmy about this some time ago, and Jimmy said trucks are targets for crooks to rip off tools. Be assured Jimmy is equipped with everything needed to do the job right. I am confident that someone else who comes in lower on price is just going for a quick weed whack and a shot of Roundup. This is not the job we want, and it is not how Jimmy works. Jimmy pulls the weeds out completely and the yards look great when he is done.

We have hired Jimmy multiple times for large weeding projects. Jimmy is extremely thorough and his prices are reasonable. He communicates his availability well, and shows up when promised. We will continue to use Jimmy for all of our small yard maintenance projects.

Extremely Poor Job! The 5-star ratings have got to be bogus! I hired this guy to trim several shrubs and clean my yard. He showed up half an hour later than scheduled in a car. My immediate thought was ‘where is he going to load the clippings, twigs, etc.?’ An hour and 15 minutes later he stopped working because the wind picked up. Said something about catching pneumonia. I asked him to at least gather what he had hand clipped, but he would not. He did a very poor job on the shrubs, clipped here and there, leaving parts untrimmed and sticking out. He text me a few days later stating he could come finish the job. I said No. I would rather hire a reputable company or do the work myself.

Jimmy has a great work ethic, is responsible and gets the job done. If going to be late, he calls, if he has to cancel due to some un-forseen circumstance, he calls. He did a great job on my front yard, then came a second time to do the back yard another day. I hurt my back this summer and he was a godsend as my yard was looking pretty bad. Someone who cares about his job, does it right, and is reasonable. I will certainly call him again.

It is clear to me that Jimmy is a diligent and focused worker. He did what I asked and did it efficiently. I've had younger workers from large landscaping companies that didn't come close to the work ethic Jimmy showed in my yard today. And Jimmy cost less. I plan on having him back and feel fortunate to have found him. He's a nice man, works hard, and he gets the job done and done well.

Jimmy is hardworking, honest and reasonably priced.

Had years worth of weeds throughout our yard. Jimmy came earlier than planned and later that day said he would be back the next day to finish up. He did exactly that. I did not think my yard could look this nice after neglecting it for so long. Prices are more than reasonable and I would recommend tipping as well, if possible.

We were looking for someone to take care of our immediate weed problem and to maintain our yard throughout the year. Jimmy has done an exemplary job of both. He was able to restore our yard back to its original appearance and is now providing 6 to 8 week long term maintenance for us. He does a fantastic job and is great person to work with.

We have about an acre up in the North Valley and needed help clearing the land of branches, leaves and other debris. I found Jimmy through Angie's List and he turned out to be the perfect person for the job. We've actually been using him for over 6 months now. Jimmy is a hard worker and he is meticulous with things. If you ask him to rake the leaves up in an area, it will be spotless and look beautiful. Jimmy is also a really nice guy who is easy to be around. I've never seen him gruff or bothered by anything. He always shows up and is easy to get on the phone when needed. We can't recommend him enough, and we're looking forward to continuing to work with Jimmy in the future!

Very well. Jimmy is very careful, uses only safe products, does all his weeding by hand. Brings all his own tools and hauls away clippings and weeds. He is very personable as well and has an interesting background. I have used him for over a year and I would use him again.

Jimmy did a great job on getting rid of all the weeds and leaves in both the front and back yards. He trimmed the bushes that were overgrown. At another time I had him clean one of my vacant rental properties. He swept and mopped the floors, cleaned the kitchen (fridge and stove) and bathroom. I was very pleased with the final result. I felt the price was fair, too.

Jimmy came the day after I called him.  He was respectful, thorough and efficient.  A pleasant gentleman with an excellent work ethic.  I will definitely hire him again and again.

He had to move rock and use a saw/ax to cut the roots. He replaced the rock , smoothed it all out and hauled off the larger roots that would not go in the trash can.  He inspected the Blue Spruce tree and sawed off all branches that was dragging on the ground.  He was a very hard worker and spent no time at all getting the job done.   I had two other bidders for the job, but Jimmy saved me considerable money by charging hourly, rather than by the job.
He was very pleasant and I have already recommended him to a friend of mind.

I have used Jimmy’s services for about the past three years and have been very pleased.  Jimmy is dependable and shows up on time.  He is very easy to work with.  I can just show up, explain to Jimmy what needs to be done and take off without having to ever micromanage Jimmy’s work.  I feel Jimmy works very hard and does a great job. His charges are also very reasonable and I highly recommend him to others.

He is very fast and detailed. I tell him to do something once and he does it. I am very pleased with his service. I would highly recommend him to anyone that wants to have a landscaping job done.
