They have been very good and we have never had any problems. They are very honest in telling us we do not need work done that we thought we needed. They are a little more pricey than others but they always do a great job and they are worth it. We would highly recommend them and we will definitely use them again.

It always goes well when I take our cars in for service. Also, Jim's is an incredible community member. See below: Jim’s Automotive and the Highland High School Marching Band—A Love Story! A word about our community and a local business that steps up every time. We parents of the Highland High School Band kids are very proud of the fantastic Hornet band but what with APS budget cuts, the theft of our band truck, and regular ongoing band expenses…….we are always in fundraising mode. Jim at Jim’s Automotive, on Washington and Lead, has stepped up every time we have asked to do a car wash at his corner. Not only does he give us permission but he shows up with a couple of easy ups, giant car wash signs (that he must have purchased for us) and two of those inflatable wacky waving tube men. He does this all on his day off. Talk about a community oriented man. We’ve raised about $4,000 at Jim’s car washes in the last 12 months or so and that pays for a lot of buses to take kids to football games, a lot of instrument repair, a lot of music and much more. Thank you Jim! And by the way, this band mom has taken her cars to Jim’s for many years and they are fair and honest and talented.

Great. After I had the car towed to Jim"s Garage, he explained where the damage to the car was , and how much it would cost. Work was done professionally, and given the damage done by the previous mechanic that had destroyed the front suspension, I was very happy with the results. More than that: I asked Jim to explain in writing how the previous mechanic had destroyed the front suspension, and the parts that needed to be changed which I then showed the to the incompetent mechanic , and was able to recoup some of the cost that was incurred.

My last service was for an oil change, but I've used Jim's automotive for more than 20 years for everything from oil changes to replacing a clutch to replacing an engine. The work is always done within the estimated cost and on time. jim and his staff have integrity, and I trust their advice. They've recommended that I replace a car even when it means they miss out on work for their business.

I chose them and it seemed like even though the price was getting higher, it wouldn’t need to be done again. I like what they offered and the idea that they had. The price was competitive. They had to redo the work because there was a defective part. So they were prompt in replacing that part and I haven’t had any problems.

My husband thinks it’s too expensive. Its foreign made cars. I thought they were very nice. They are very cordial. They want feedback right away and all that and they are in the neighborhood which we appreciate very much.
