We've been staying with Jeff. We've been with him for a long time. He keeps it running effectively. They're really great. The cost is never crushing. I feel very reassured that any trouble that's looming, they spotted it and took care of it. It's been like 15 to 20 years that we've been with them.

I can always trust the folks at Jeff's to be honest with me. a number of times I have called them in a panic with some noise or light. sometimes it actually requires some work, but more often than not it is some minor thing that takes them 5 minutes to figure out. no muss, no fuss. I actually am likely to buy brands of cars based on the ones Jeff's will work on - that is how much I value the service I get from them!!

I have been using Jeff's for years, and several of my friends go there as well.  They seem to specialize in Japanese vehicles.  Candy, in Reception, is the best--she always knows what's going on and is the first to diagnose any vehicular problems.  Very accommodating, extraordinarily friendly.  Honest and reasonable.  What more could you want?

They're extremely competent. Their prices are competitive. They do not oversell work. They really give you good advice about how best to maintain and service your car and to get a long life out of it without breaking a bank. They're honest. They're a pleasure to work with. I have an appointment to take one of my cars there in next week. I will absolutely  use them in the future. I go to them for the last 20 years. We are not related but I do send them Christmas presents.

As you'd expect with any good mechanic like Jeff's Gasoline Alley everything went well on the brake job. (We've also used them in the past for a clutch replacement, which has been fully satisfactory as well.)
The need to replace the front brakes actually came up during their inspection of the underside of the vehicle, searching for the source of a high pitched whine in the front and an occasional thunk in the back. It's their performance here that has really made Jeff's Gasoline Alley my go-to guys for troubleshooting our aging Nissan pickup truck. In addition to discovering the wear on the brakes, they found that the whine in the front was coming from a worn driveshaft and the thunk in the back from worn rear bushings. They left the vehicle up on the lift until I arrived in order to give me a complete tour of the issues. They also recommended that I take both problems to specialists as it would probably save me money. (We have since had the driveshaft replaced at one of their recommended specialist, with noticeable improvement in the noise and performance of the vehicle. Due to budget constraints we have not yet done any work on the rear bushings.)

Our 2001 Subaru needed a new alternator and knock sensor as well as some other work.  They performed excellent diagnostics and fixed all of the car's problems, including going above and beyond expectations.  Over many years, we have always appreciated their car repair skills and their trustworthiness.

I took my 98 Honda to them because the check engine light kept coming on and it acted like it was going to stall. They confirmed it was the spark plugs. I'll take the car to other places for oil changes and battery replacement. It only goes to Jeff's for everything else.

they are a good company to use.  they are generally booked out, so the repair will not be completed quickly.  price is competitive, although i have not gone there in a while.

Jeff's did all the work on an older Honda I owned sometime back.  They were great at getting parts, charging a fair price and getting the work done in the time they tell you.  While I did not take my current vehicle this time, it had to do with my convenience.  I would take a car there to have work done anytime.

They work with all imports and are really good. I have nothing but rave reviews; I have 5 cars and they work with all of them. They are friendly, right on the spot and are real efficient without trying to scam me or make more money. In the past I have asked them whether or not I need a certain new part and they tell me they can put one in if I want, but I don't need it; so it still works just fine. They are really good and it is a nice place to take my car to. They charge the same as most other places but they are more efficient about the time. I have to set an appointment but once I get it in there they are right on the ball.

I have been taking various cars to Jeff's for over 13 years.  They are the best mechanics I have found anywhere.  They are knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy.  They work on a limited list of makes however.  I tend to choose new cars based on whether Jeff's will work on them.  I highly recommend them.

The Subaru had been running poorly for more than a year. The problems started after taking it for service at one mechanic, and got worse after taking it to another place---everybody claiming they knew how to work on Subaru. Saw Jeff's Gasoline Alley on Angie's list. They totally knew what the problem was--- the timing had been set WAY off, which they corrected---now it's running great. Thanks, Jeff's!

We have used them for a number of years. They are honest. They give you an estimate before they do any work. If they get into a project and find that it is going to cost more than they thought, they will call you before they proceed. They will save the parts that they take out and replace, so you know it wasn't a scam. Their prices are reasonable. They do good work. We had a case where we had an alternator problem. We were scheduled to leave on a trip the next day. I didn't get the car in until late in the day. They had mechanics stay well after hours to get the car fixed for me, and didn't charge me extra.
