At first, his work was good but he was ALWAYS VERY undependable.  He would make an appointment and wouldn't show up or call.  It was very frustrating.  He wouldn't answer or return calls.  Things got worse as time progressed.  At the end, we got promises to finish the job but  Chuck Lopez was all talk and no do.  He just wouldn't  finish  what he said he  would and would not replace dead  trees and plants that he planted.  They were guaranteed for a yearn.

Overall I am very pleased with the work and Chuck Lopez is easy to work with.  He did everything he commited to do in a satisfactory manner.  I paid for the plants at Jerico Nursery the day I picked them out.  I paid Chuck for the labor the next day when the work was almost complete.  This was ok with me.

Final cleanup was not done perfectly (dead twigs and proper gravel replacement)  but when I asked for specific tasks to be done to complete it before they left, they did it.  I'm giving a "B" instead of an "A" for quality because of this.  Chuck was not on site for most of the day but his foreman, Jesse, was there constantlyto direct the other two men and he was very concientious.  It has now been two weeks and all the plants look good.

NO - It couldn't have been any worse. Half of our sod was dead, we had 3 plants/vine bushes die, and a hole in our rocks that had sunk. Our sprinkler system was backed up causing the flooding and disease. I had pictures and proof of the mess of our backyard. He would send other people that never fixed the problems and he never returns calls. After they performed the landscaping, they never even turned on the water and we had to manually water our yard with the valve box for over 3 weeks. Whatever you do, don't use Intelligent Landscaping - he's a fluke.
