The work was completed before we moved into the house in October 2010 and was paid for by the seller. I received a copy of the estimate which seemed very pricey. In January 2011, three months later, we had a huge snow storm in Albuquerque at which point the roof began to leak again in the areas that were patched by IRSC. I called IRSC and they sent over their "Tactical Operations Officer" named Vinny. He was at my house several times and was having trouble finding the leak. At one point he claimed it was fixed but the roof only began leaking again. Over the course of the next year he was here off and on and had the roofing company come back to check the roof. He cut out several areas of dry wall and claimed to find the leak sometime around December 2011, about a year after the problem began. Vinny sent his brother over to patch the drywall and paint in February 2012. He didn't do a great job but I was happy to have it done. Just last week after a big rain storms the roof began to leak again in the same three areas as before. I called IRSC and received a call back from Eric within an hour. Eric said that they preformed the work they were hired to do and they were doing me a favor by coming back to locate the leaks before. He also said that the work over the course of the year was done gratis and I should have been charged for the work. Eric also made it a point to mention that they spent a lot of time here before and are out a lot of money because of it. I told him that he was hired to fix the roof and they should have been able to do that in the first place, but he claims that they were not hired to fix the leaks. In his opinion they were hired to have the roof repaired and they did the job they were hired to do. I told him that it was his choice to conduct business in that manner knowing that they never fixed the problem. He continued to make excuses. I said that I was done hearing his excuses and I just wanted to know if he was going to send someone who can fix the problem. He said no we will not be back there. At which point I hung up.

"In response to [removed member name] concerns, IRS Corporation can empathize with her frustation and feel that IRS has made extrorinary attempts to help resolve an issue that was not part of the original request in 2010. Upon the reciept of contracted work to be performed, "replace roof at kitchen nook" IRS complied and had that area of the roof replaced. As per legal implications, IRS only did work that was outlined and stipulated as per the original request. Unfortunately inspector who required work to be done, appears to have assumed that the leak originated from that area we were asked to replace. As outlined, IRS made several "no charge" trips to this property, called out the reputable roofing company who was binded to do the licensed work, and made additional trips to isolate where the leak may have originated from. From 2010-2012, IRS continued to answer calls and help as able. In 2012 IRS physically flooded the roof and no leaks were witnessed and it was the companies understanding that the issue either went away, or was resolved because we had not heard any additional issues associated with this property. [removed member name] is correct Albuquerque has experienced record level rainfall recently which may or may not be a part of her continuing problem. At this point, IRS, over the course of 2+years, has had multiple specialists review the property and feels that the issue is originating from a location other than the location that IRS Corporation was originally contracted to repair. Our apologies to her and her family."

IRS was quick to respond to our inquiry and gave us a very reasonable quote. They referred us to a closet system online that we purchased from directly: www.easyclosets.com. We were SO THRILLED that they shared this information, because Easy Closets is a third of the price of California Closets systems, and it allowed us to design the boys' closets to our liking (online). Once we ordered each system, IRS was here in a snap to professionally install them for us. THEY DID A STELLAR JOB. In addition to the closet system installation, they even painted the inside of the closet walls to give them a uniform, clean look when the doors are open. Neither my husband nor I could have ever put these closet systems in ourselves! It took the men from IRS one day to complete each closet-- and wah-lah--the closets are gorgeous. Finding trustworthy, professional handymen is not an easy feat. We enjoyed their company and having them in our home and around our children. The guys were super kind and pleasant. They did an amazing job and it has added value to our home. Even though the guys at IRS are skilled home builders, they made us feel like our small closet job was very important to them. We appreciate this company so very much and they come highly recommended by our family, always.
