It was very good, The pricing was good too. It was done the same day. Professional. Very clean.

They told me that my transmission didn't need repair. They do oil changes and certain things like that but I've continuously gone to them even for large projects, large, small, brakes. Great job.

They specialize in Saab and Volvo repairs, but they do all cars.  They provided me with a break down of things I should probably consider changing in the future. If I had any problems with anything they would offer to remedy the situation or fix it right away. They are always very professional. Usually it's completed the same day. They would never let me leave with something that was unsafe or was going to break down.

Not well, they claimed that the AC did not blow cold air, identified suspension problems brake repair needed and recommended thousands of dollars in repairs, the kicker is that my mechanical sun roof that has been working perfectly for 23 years now won't close. I have left a voice-mail and will discuss this with them as soon as they call back. Very poor form, I would expect to have the car back as I left it certainly after an inspection

Went great. Had several issues I tried to fix myself and failed. They took my car in and several hours later had it running like a champ again.

We waited while our car was being serviced. They performed the oil change and all our system checks in just over an hour,and didn't recommend anything that didn't need to be done, unlike the Toyota dealer, which always seems to implore us to change air filters and wiper blades, even when they were just done the last time. They really focus on customer satisfaction, and even refused to change my mother's oil when it was clean and didn't need to be changed. Being old school, my mother takes her car in twice a year for oil changes, even though she only drives about 500 miles a year, and they keep telling her she doesn't need to get her car serviced, that it's fine and she can wait until next year or later. It's really great to know there's a mechanic we can trust.

very impressed with these guys. They explain everything, do the work, and then check it well to insure quality control. They are not cheap, because Volvo's are not cheap, but they are good.

I've been using these guys for years to service my Volvo. I have found them always to be fair, reasonably priced, customer oriented and good at what they do. They also service other brands and all hybrids.

They are honest. If they have my car in for a service job like oil change and they discover something, then they call and tell me that they have found a problem and what I would like them to do. So they don't do any work without the owner authorizing it and they use the opportunity to put it off until the other time. They do the tire work while they do the oil change if requested but I don't get my tires from them.

I take one of my vehicles in every two months. We have three vehicles, so we are in there often. They will let me know if something can wait until later to be done. They do not do things that aren't required. They let me know ahead of time if they find something that needs to be done. Their prices are reasonable. They are very responsive.

It went well. I would recommend them to others. The quality of service does depend somewhat on the assigned mechanic though.

I went to the dealer to diagnose why my check engine light was on. It had been coming on repeatly for the last three years. It was always the evaporative system and it was never fully resolved. This time, after a day of not being able to figure it out what the problem was, the dealer said they could replace the whole system for $4,000, (because they couldn't find the problem) or I could just get a new car. I got a second opinion from Independent Volvo Services and, after five days and a mulitude of tests, they figured out that it had been an improperly replaced hose from some repair work in 2007. I expected a huge bill but instead they charged me only $600 and they even gave me a loaner car to use while they had been working on it. Dave Lang, the owner, wrote a note to me ending with, "Jane, thanks for bringing us a challenging problem. It pushes us to learn." What a treasure to find a business like this! I expect to be one of their customers forever. And, it's been 2 months and the 'check engine' light has not come back on!!

I love them. I spent probably about $100 on that last work. They have always worked on our Volvos. We had a couple of them and one is a really older model and my daughter has a newer one. They have taken care of all the repairs that weren’t under warranty. We had an oil leak on our old Volvo and they fixed that. They were very honest about how long it we could wait before we did a more expensive kind of service on it. I really like them and think that they are honest, pretty reasonable and are quick to get you. I just trust them with my car.

I've been taking my cars to Independent Volvo since 1993, and every experience has been excellent. I've never had the least reason not to be completely satisfied with their excellent work, their professionalism, and their courtesy.
