It went great, all three times we have worked with Walt to date. Walt works quickly and with expertise, knows how to blend colors and make paintwork blend into brick, tints grout and caulk repair materials to match, and does excellent drywall repairs. Our cat and dog like him, too. We plan to get his help in the near future for re-coating HVAC ducts on our roof.

The work was perfect. An excellent job in tearing out the old light box with florscent lights with repair that is professional and clean. The repair of drywall and texturing the ceiling and kitchen walls went very well without being able to tell where there was work done. He gave paint samples to choose from, brought a quart of paint chosen for a sample on the wall. When the paint chosen was not 'the right hue of a nuetral', he suggested a color in the warm neutral and brought a sample. The neutral was perfect for the tile and rest of the home colors. Mr. Hardwick completely masked and cordoned off with plastic the kitchen from adjoining rooms so that the new tile or rest of the house was not soiled in anyway from the repair, drywalling, or painting. We felt very comfortable having him in our home and feel he is very professional. We will be using his professional help again in the future. Thank you Walt.

It was impeccable and correct the first time. He is a safe guy. I felt comfortable leaving him in my home when I wasn't there.

Walt is meticulous about his work.  He taped off all work areas to keep my house clean.  He thoroughly cleaned up what little mess there was from his work.  I have a galley kitchen and the refrigerator poked out 6" beyond the cabinets.  The wall behind the refrigerator is shared with a pantry behind the kitchen.  Walt tore out the wall behind the refrigerator, built a new wall deeper into the pantry, arranged for an electrician buddy to take care of the wiring (separate cost), and installed drywall.  He then finished the drywall and textured it to match.  There was extensive damage in the kitchen from a roof leak and Walt repaired all of that and textured it to match.  I had previously put in carved posts and beams at each end of the galley kitchen but had never finished the drywall around them.  Walt did this and it's beautiful.  There was some damage to the ceiling in the living room from the leak and from general aging.  Walt repaired everything and then applied a beautiful brocade texture.  It transformed the living room.  Walt did excellent work at a good price.  He was not always on time but I think he's worth waiting for.  If you want guaranteed high quality work--Walt is your guy.

Walt coordinated his work with the electrician so that he began repair as soon as the electrician was finished.  He re-installed the cutouts securely, completed the drywall mud work, and finished the job with texture to match what was in the room.  He was very careful to tape off his work area with plastic so nothing in the room got dirty.  His clean up was fantastic.  I cannot tell where the repairs were made--the texture match was that good!  Walt's price was really great and much below anyone else's who bid on the job.  I'm very happy with the work Walt did and recommend him highly.

Walt performed extensive lath and plaster and drywall repairs and painting throughout our historic home, including refloating the ceiling in two rooms.  His plaster work is truly amazing - he matched our 1920's era hand-troweled finishes beautifully - not an easy feat.  His painting work was also excellent, he was even able to tint some existing paint to match our kitchen color exactly vs. us having to purchase excess paint.  He communicated proactively and accurately regarding when he would arrive and leave throughout the project.  Based on our experience I would recommend Hardwick Homes without hesitation.

The quality of the work, plans, finish were excellent.  Unfortunately Walt is sometimes hard to reach.  He did not have a regular staff in the office and would be hard to reach.  He was pleasant to deal with and the work was well done. All in all it went well

I work with him all the time.  He is excellent.  He does a nice job.  As a matter of fact, he works in my house personally.  He does what he says he is going to do.  He shows up when he says he is going to show up.  He always does it for the price he says he is going to do it for.  If there is a problem, I always get a phone call.  It is the reason I use his services.  I recommend him all the time.  He is great.  I will continue to use his services in the future.

He finished the work in a few days. He was working on a schedule. I thought the price was fair. I got some other quotes from some other venders and based on the work that was done, his quote wasn't the highest but I thought that was a fair price. His work was amazing. He was very attentive to details and his work was outstanding. He was very clean and neat. He was very considerate. As he was working on my bathroom, he would check with me, because I had only one bathroom in my house. He was on time. I wanted to understand couple of things on an educational point of view, and he had no problem explaining things to me. He explained why he does things in such a way, and everything. I would definitely recommend him and I am waiting on another quote from him for doing some additional work. I will use him again in the future.

Mr. Hardwick arrived around 9:00 am and worked until 6:00 pm. The job was completed during this time. He was kind, professional, and cleaned up after himself. It all went very well.
