I had a headlight out, and they fixed it, and said, no charge.

They have been taking care of my Mercedes for at least 3 or 4 years. They call me and tell me when it's time.

They only work on Porsche, Mercedes and BMW. They may also do Audi. They are cheaper than the dealership. I like working with Hans. They take care of my cars. They take care of everything. They do better than the dealership. The guys are all solid. I mean they are working on your car, they are taking care of you.

We have been using Hans Wittler for years.  They worked on all of our cars ( Mini Cooper, BMW and Porsche). We've found them to be reasonable and reliable. We wouldn't take our cars to any other mechanic.

They are excellent.

I went to this auto repair business after checking on Angie's list.  I was not disappointed.  I was immediately impressed with the knowledge of the staff regarding my BMW X-5.  I have been overcharged by other BMW repair businesses in Albuquerque and was pleased with the cost of for work done here.  I was treated with respect and everything was fully explained to me before the repair was completed. The work area was immaculate.  It is a relief to know that I have found someone to service my BMW that I have confidence in.

Everyone is nice and professional. It's sometimes hard to get an appointment without having to wait a couple of weeks - they seem to be backed up with requests.

Whenever I take my 2002 BMW X5 into their shop, they always do a great job and their prices are the best in town - much better then the dealer and the other BMW service shop in the area. Low keyed but always keep you appraised as to the work and progress.

I've been using Hans Wittler's Automotive for over 7 years, and I've had very good service each time. When my clutch went out, I called and made an appointment, and my car was ready when promised. After driving with a worn out clutch for some time, it was great to get in the car and notice how well the gears shifted. There were no leaks or problems at all. In such an old car as mine, I take it to Wittler's for maintenance and repairs, and I've always been pleased with the customer service and repair service. It feels good to work with a local family-owned business, and they are always professional and helpful. They work with me to give me the best prices, and they put my car back together again a few years back after I had an accident on black ice.

Fixed oil leak ($300) but after flushing brake fluid( which was their idea) I was told that brake pedal would not come back and anew master was needed, $600+. Total time at shop was 9 days.

frankly, I don't know auto repair. especially on the newer cars which require specialized equipement. I have not changed my own oil in probably 25 years. its not how I make my money, and I don't care to do so. when I have a computer problem, I call the tech guy and let him fix it. I am not interested in how the thing works, other than in a general understanding of the process....but only that the thing does what I need it to do, when I need it done.
thus....... a lot of what is done (repair work) is taken on faith that the work is done correctly, that it is needed, and that it was a fair price. for that you have to trust your technicians to a pretty good level.

I priced some of the parts on google, and the markup was not bad, near as I could make out.
one thing I will ask for next time is a more complete breakdown of specific parts prices and services.
one line labeled and quot;partsand quot; and another labeled and quot;laborand quot; is not enough. and I am sure they would have broken things out had I asked at the time.
all that said, for work I have had done in the past, as well as this work, I have been well satisfied with Wittler, and I find their prices are much better than the local Audi dealer.
Digression: who for some reason, really marks up their stuff, and the Audi service manager acts like he is doing me a favor by talking to me. so I cant recommend the local Audi dealer based on staff attitude and price.
I can and do recommend Wittler for professional service, good attitude, and repair prices way better than the dealer.

I had a fine experience with them. I think they do a quality job. Their punctuality in getting the vehicle back to me and their communication with me was excellent.

I have a 30 year old Mercedes. If there is something that I can't do, this is an excellent shop for any of the German models. It is a family operation and they are excellent. I bought a kit from them a couple of years ago and there was a gasket that wasn't big enough and he gave me a bigger gasket and didn't charge me anything. He said that since it was part of a kit and if part of the kit didn't work he wouldn't charge me. He serviced the air conditioner a few years ago and it is still working like a charm. I have never had it last that long. They are wonderful to deal with, they know what they are doing, the guy in the shop has been there 9 years; its just a family. The mother runs the paper side of the business with an iron hand and her sons run the shop. I would give them absolutely straight A's. They are the best. I have been to some poor ones and these guys are really good. I will absolutely continue to go there.
