The wait time was less than 30 minutes, and I was early. The vet interacted very well with my pet. They have two outstanding veterinarians there. They have a veterinary technician who is amazing, who I have dealt with for years. My previous dog had diabetes, and she helped me keep him going for about three years.

They were expensive. The actual vets are pretty good, but they are so crowded, you have to wait forever in there. They only have two vets, they have been there for years and years, I think their pretty good. Vets are expensive anyway. I went with them after comparing prices. They did a good job, I can't complain about that. The job that they did was good. I took my dog in one day and I picked him up late that day and I had to wait another hour and half to get him. I wasn't happy about that. Like I said they are very busy. They do a pretty good job, but you have to be patient if you want to go there. They keep you waiting so they are not very punctual. But they didn't' kill the dog, I got it back and she was in good shape, so we're good. They are professional, they know what they are doing.

It went well.  They are so caring and passionate about what they do.  I would highly recommend them as well as continue to use this vet.

They are very nice. We use Dr. Bingham and she's excellent. It went very good and she's done dental work for him. Actually considering our previous vet, I would consider them very good and their prices are very good. If you need to get in right away they'll fit you in. You may not be able to see your doctor depending on her schedule but you'll be able to see somebody who'll be able to help you. You don't have to wait.

I was very impressed by the way the staff and the doctor handled my 13 year old dog. I am especially appreciative of the advice that the doctor gave me regarding the herbal options available to ease my dog's anxiety and help him with his arthritis pain. It's been about 3 weeks now and there's been a marked improvement in his comfort and activity level. Doctor took the time to explain everything and she made sure I understood. Overall it was a very positive experience and I have no qualms about going to them again.

Dr. Skains and Dr. Bingaman run it and she is the one that helped with my dog, Sierra that died. They and their staff are wonderful. I have been going to them since 2009. I like their reception, the receptionist is very nice. They are almost always available. They make me an appointment and if they don't have one, they will try to fit me in and they always try to help. Dr. Skains has been doing this for thirty years and she is very well qualified. She is very caring and she doesn't like to do a bunch of unnecessary tests. She tells me what she thinks is wrong and she tells me what she needs to do and gives me an estimate of what it is going to cost, so I know upfront and so I don't get slapped with an outrageous bill. They are really good with the animals; all of the technicians are great with animals too. I do mine with Dr. Skains, Coral was also there with me with Sierra, and Coral helped me with other animals too. She is wonderful when it comes to compassion, caring and in dealing with the animal.

I have been using Good Shepard since last June. This is the third dog I have taken there and have always been pleased with the attention they have given to all my dogs.
The price for an office visit is fair and they can give you an appointment on short notice if you need it.

My experience with taking several cats to this veterinarian is that you have to be very proactive as a customer to get all the information about treatment possibilities. They have a tendency to "up-sell." They also have a tendency to run late, and the whole office has a kind of frenetic and disjointed feeling to it. Not sure how my cat felt, but as a human I felt that Dr. Bingham had an unnerving bedside manner. Despite all of this, I returned recently because I had a sick cat who wasn't eating, and they were the most convenient option in a pinch. What a mistake!

Dr. Bingham suggested a whole bunch of expensive things right off the bat, including blood tests and X-rays, but not hydration - even though her chart notes said "Dehydrated!!" (Doctor's exclamation marks, not mine.) Surprisingly, I actually had to suggest hydration - to which Dr. Bingham smirked at my calling it "IV fluids" instead of "subcutaneous fluids." Whatever.

When they gave my cat back after the fluids, she was bleeding slightly at the needle site. By this morning, it had turned into a huge (about 2x2") gummy pool of dark blood. Left a voice mail for the office immediately which was not returned. When I called again to follow up, the tone with staff was unsympathetic, dismissive and slightly defensive, suggesting that I "hurry up because they close at noon." I'm looking for a new vet.
