The shade structure was very basic - 10 x 10 post and beam. After it was constructed I decided I wanted lattice attached to top. That added an additional $200 to the price. When I first looked at it I didn't notice that the last section of lattice didn't align with the adjoining pieces. This was the day after I paid for it and Mr. Jones considered it done - I think. I called him and told him that I was dissatisfied with the last piece in that it was out of alignment. He said that he was trying to use the lattice that he had. Well, I said I was disappointed that he left it the way he had. I know he can do good work. He said that he would have to get another piece of lattice so I said, "Okay." I didn't hear from for a week or so and called him back and he said he was busy but he hadn't forgotten me. He did come out the following Saturday and fix the problem and I did not pay for the extra piece of lattice. So I am satisfied with the way it looks but disappointed that he thought he could leave an obviously flawed job and I wouldn't call him on it. I do think I paid a little too much for a very simple shade structure.
