Eric worked to repair the second computer while still saving us some money. I needed a new case and battery and an upgrade in the amount of memory. Parts were difficult or impossible to come by and we ended up with an older though fancier (at the time) laptop. It looks like the hard drive will be going out soon and the unit seems to chew up the battery.
No doubt Eric made an honest effort to renew the computer.
I'm glad to have all my data (or at least most of it) safe and accessible.
