The reason we hired Floor Coverings to do the tile work was because of the superior job they did installing new carpet.
Never again will we hire or even consider this company to do any of our remodeling.
"This work was done over 7 years ago.We were contacted about two years ago that these folks had a leak .We sent out a competent licensed tile installer to inspect the possible causes ,we were unable to replicate the "leak".We could find no evidence of poor workmanship nor after considerable effort find a leak.Sometimes aliner will be nailed at the high point of the corner to hold it on a stud this is usually 6 inches above the drain and could not cause a leak.There would be no reason to put any nails in the bottom which has a prefloat of motar(cementatious) underneath it.The job was encapsulated with a waterproofing membrane.We serviced this job more than once for cracked grout ann a need of caukling."
After having a little trouble finding our home in the East Mountains, the installers arrived just a little late. They proceeded to skim the old flooring and take up anything that was loose. They were there from about 9AM to 3:30PM without ever taking a lunch break. They were careful and knowledgeable and did an excellent job. We had installed the same material ourselves about a year and a half ago and had some issues with the expansion and contraction. The guys from Floor Covering Interiors had all been trained by the Armstrong reps to be aware of the nature of this material and took it into consideration when measuring and laying it down.
A month later, the floor looks beautiful and we are delighted with their work.
