Antonio was punctual and worked efficiently. He quickly diagnosed what was causing a breaker to trip. He also corrected a faulty GFI outlet on the exterior of the house. We will definitely hire again.

The owner is responsive, but does not strive to provide high quality service. The two fans that were installed are very high-end, and the manufacturer pre-balances them at the factory. The owner installed the fans but would not take the time to check his work and balance the fans property. One fan was installed correctly (no wobble), but it made a clicking sound. The owner tinkered with it a bit and the noise disappeared. However, after the noise went away, the fan started to wobble when at first it did not. It worked beautifully and smoothly at first! The second fan always wobbled and the owner blamed the ceiling pitch, the fan manufacturer, etc. It makes no sense that the ceiling pitch is the problem if the first fan worked perfectly at first, and then did not (both fans are in the same room). Also, we had two fans installed in these locations for 10 years and they did not wobble! When the owner was here, we got the manufacturer on the phone and the owner did check one thing but would not take the time to check some of the other things the manufacturer suggested. After the owner left, we spoke with the fan manufacturer (again), and they sent a list of things to check to insure the fans operate properly. We emailed the information to the business owner and asked him to come back to our home at his convenience to finish the job, but he never responded. We were able to get him on the phone. He told us the problem was with our home and the fans. He won't come back to troubleshoot both fans that wobble unless we pay the same installation fee again ($250). We're going to call another installer who is accustomed to higher end fixtures and cares about doing higher quality work.

"I'm sorry you are not satisfied with the installation I made you a reasonable offer. I told you I would go back to [Member Information Removed] from Rio Rancho to basically remove both fans and reinstall. The only stipulation was if I went and proved it was not installation error you would pay installation cost again, but if it was my fault I would not charge you. In my opinion this is a fair proposal. If you would like to accept this offer I would be happy to show you we have no control of the fan not being perfectly balanced , they are both on 6 foot poles and wobble slightly. We already stayed and talked to manufacturer to see what might cause the problem and made the repair. I feel we don't deserve the review we received but you are entitled to your opinion have a great day."

Five Star Electric gave us a quote over the phone. It was very reasonable. We scheduled the job with them. They came exactly on time, performed the work in less time than their quote said it would take, cleaned up after themselves even vacuuming the drywall dust off the floor. The outlet works perfectly, looks like it came with the house, and we're very happy customers. I highly recommend Five Star Electric and its principal, Antonio Mondragon !!

Perfect. We were so impressed with Antonio and his helper! They located the problem quickly and did a professional job on the repair. Our problem was fixed for less than an eighth the estimate of another electrician. They were prompt and courteous as well as extremely competent!

Checked the appliances connected to the defective breaker, replaced the breaker, checked all the other breaker connections which were loose, tightened them, and rearranged the wires which involved disconnecting and reconnecting for future easier access. Was pleasant, professional, worked quickly and thoroughly, was on time, and kept me informed. Antonio is our go-to electrician!

I had problems with some power outages. Antonio came at the set time and repaired the Panel. He repaired some issues in the panel, loose wires etc. He was very knowledgeable and did a good job. I will use his services again.

Antonio and Jeff got to the house exactly when they said they would be there and worked throughout the morning. Several of the lights were in a two story high stairwell with extremely difficult access. They built a frame on site for the ladder and then scaled close to thirty feet to replace the lights. Every aspect of the job was done well and we would definitely recommend Five Star Electric.

Antonio answered when I called and we set up a time for him to come out and remove the light fixture in the Master Bedroom closet. 2 people had already tried to remove this very large, old fluorescent light fixture and could not do it. (they were not electricians) Antonio came in and had it out in a matter of minutes! He was very careful not to ruin our clothes that were hanging in our closet at the time. He had me cover them with a sheet so the dust and debris would not get on them. He installed the new light within just a few minutes. He cleaned up after himself. He was very polite, professional, and amazingly quick! I then showed him the other items I needed out in the front patio area. We made an appointment for him to come back and do those installs. He arrived on time each time he came over. He installed the lights and the electrical outlet, without help, so quickly I couldn't believe it. He even made sure he used an exterior electrical cover that would match the darker wood color in our patio, who does that?! He will be our "go to" electrician going forward.
