When I took the dress in, we discussed in detail what I wanted done, any extra work that might need to be done to preserve the beading and color of the material, and I was provided an estimate for the service. Frank called me before he cleaned the dress and taffeta slip to give me options for how to clean and press the gown and slip and be sure of what services I wanted and that I approved the cost. For me, this demonstrated exceptional service and attention to detail. They did a beautiful job cleaning and pressing the dress and slip. Based on their exceptional service, I've taken in my leather jacket for cleaning and button repair. Again, Frank called to tell me what the exact cost would be after he'd looked at the jacket himself. I will continue to use them as my husband has for his cleaning for many years as they provide excellent service both for their work and customer contact.

"The customer in question is a dermatologist who admittedly works with acids. When acids are spilled on clothing what typically happens, initially, is nothing. But the fabric is weakened and when washed, holes miraculously appear. This had happened previously with this customer. One load of shirts may contain upwards of 50 shirts. Only his were affected. I offered to send his shirts out to a lab for analysis, but she refused(they were brought in by his wife). Subsequent attempts to reconcile this situation met with no response. I never asked, "is there a problem? " Of course there was. The next step here would have been lab analysis. We had provided good and faithful service to this customer for over 10 years. If our service was so shoddy, would they have come to us for so long?"
