Our recent experience: Everguard returned to seal a leak that developed after an electrical storm. They had provided an inspection in the spring and sealed leaks at that time. No leaks occurred in the next six months or so, in spite of several rain storms. However, in November, thunder boomed right over our house and lightning struck. A leak developed. They came to Santa Fe from Albuquerque to repair and reseal the roof damage. Although it may have been a lightning strike or a thunder boom that triggered the leak, Everguard took care to fix it.
We consider their initial work was very good and follow-up fantastic!

To be fair, I don't know how they'd do with a major roof repair. I'm speaking strictly about the package I bought, which I feel was a waste of money. Everyone I dealt with was courteous, professional and punctual.

I purchased an inspection/maintenance package in April. Following the initial inspection I received a call from Caleb that an additional photo was needed for an area his engineers wanted more detail on. We exchanged messages and I was trying to schedule around my work demands. When I finally spoke to Caleb in person, he said a crew had already been out and he could send me a work order of what they did. I questioned this because I have 3 large dogs and try to corral them when work is being done, since normally a work crew will not come onto the property when they are out (and I also have to open the gate for them). He said the dogs didn't bother the guys and they did the work. I guess I wanted to believe Caleb and consented to wait for my work order.
I am probably a slow learner. Once this year's monsoons started, I had a serious leak in my utility room and again called EverGuard--I guess assuming they would already know about my roof and/or an earlier maintenance fix had failed (but I still didn't have a work order to see what was done). I showed Caleb the leak and expressed my concern that some of the water was going into the globe of a light fixture and I felt this was very dangerous. He came back with a quote that included a full roof replacement for $12,000 and a patch-up for $1,800 (+$2,000 with tax). I approved the $1,800 and scheduled the work, which also included fixing a couple of stucco cracks that caused a smaller leak in my sunroom. The work was done and the stucco color was a mis-match and resulted in a bright stripe down the side of my house.
Next monsoon: utility room leaked another gallon or so of water so I called Caleb and also expressed my displeasure with the stucco. He said he didn't realize the utility room leak was supposed to be included in the quote, which he said addressed the sunroom. I clarified that the utility room was THE priority and the sunroom secondary. Since he did not leave me the signature page of the quotation, however, I did not have documentation. He said he would send out a crew to fix the leak and the stucco.
Tim, the person who led the crew, was prompt and courteous and seemed to understand exactly what it would take to fix the utility room leak, which he agreed was very dangerous. (I think it is fixed but it will take another rain storm to confirm). He had several stucco color samples on his phone but it was very difficult to see in the sunlight. We didn't exactly agree on the color chips when compared to the side of the house but he said he'd take a color chip with him to match. I confirmed with him that the roof parapets might still have the original stucco color and that a new color was applied about 7 years ago. Tim stated he'd make the "fix" wider than the original so it would blend in.
I now have a foot-wide stripe of stucco down the side of my house that is not even close to the color coat. Since it is visible from the road, my place looks pretty white-trash. I have to reiterate that Tim and the folks who worked on my house were courteous and responsive--just not very good with color matches. (And I didn't expect a 100% match since I know the stucco has probably faded since being applied originally; however, the same color family would help). I'm just hoping the big leak in the utility room was done correctly so my power does not blow out.

The work of the office staff is of extemely poor quality. It should not be this difficult to spend my money.
