Our project was more complicated than the average shower remodel. Jonathan went above and beyond to help us remediate poor workmanship by another company that caused a shower to leak 6 weeks after completion. He helped us coordinate with other contractors to pull permits and removed the old shower and tub surround to the studs. He prefers to do his own demo and prep because it really does affect the tile installment. He showed us step by step what caused the leak and explained how he was rebuilding the shower and properly waterproofing the pan, shower, bench, pony wall and tub surround. His work was so meticulous that we were actually able to reuse stone and glass which fit beautifully and saved us money. We are now really enjoying our new shower and tub. We highly recommend Jonathan and would not hesitate to use him again. He should rename his company "The Tile Doctor" because he knows his trade so well. We wish we would have hired him the first time!

Jonathan (owner of Elliot Tile) is a true artist with tile. Our bathroom was a difficult task as there are few straight walls. All floor edge tiles were custom cut and fit. The curved walls also presented a challenge. As I stated earlier Jonathan's work is a piece of art. Another challenge he took on was completely redesigning and constructing the shower making it larger in all directions while integrating the tile work with glass to make it more open. He was always ready for our input while providing his own great advice and recommendations. We would tell him what we were looking for and he would make it happen. I had other bids for the same work - Jonathan's was half theirs. Jonathan integrated his work with three other contractors perfectly. I think it would be difficult to find someone better! I highly recommend Elliot Tile.

The time frame for these two projects (both took place well over a year ago) was not contiguous which should indicate to a reader that I had no hesitation in calling Jonathan back for a second job months after he completed the first job. And if I had another job he'd be the first person I'd call! Jonathan is reliable and well organized, More importantly (for me) he has all the skills of a craftsman of the highest order AND an artistic sense. Tile, after all, is not just a matter of durability and cleanliness; it has an immediate visual impact that involves color and design. In the case of the claw-foot tub Jonathan managed the entire project from start to finish and I came to rely on his judgment time and again as this project went from demolition of the old space to the installation of the new beautiful shower space we now treasure. His assistance in choosing the right material, shape, and style of the tiling that was installed was invaluable. He is meticulous in his work and the results show that care. The second project was less complicated but again handled with the same skill and thoroughness as the first. Money extremely well spent in both cases. To all the above ... add the fact that Jonathan's personality is outgoing and friendly. What more could one ask for?

Excellent job. Installation of 12x24 rectified porcelain tile, 1/16" grout joints, no clefting, absolutely flat from tile to tile. Single component resin grout was recommended and installed. Color match same throughout, unlike most cement grout. Hearth and riser for fireplace resurfaced and tile installed to match floor layout with bullnose. Step to living area was demo'd and reframed and tile installed with bullnose. We have a beautiful den.

Working with Jonathan is a delight. He has such a commitment to quality. Every installation is done in the most professional manner and he always has great solutions to every challenge. Jonathan from Elliott Tile does beautiful professional work. He showed up when he was supposed to and left the work area spotless when he left for the day. The job was completed in a timely manner. He offered helpful advice including ways we could save money without sacrificing quality. At no charge to us, he did some minor repairs that were not included in the bathroom renovation such as rehanging a sticky door in our laundry room and touching up paint on the bathroom walls and grout on the tiled bathroom floor. We highly recommend him; he is meticulous and takes pride in the work that he does.

Jonathan did a superior job bringing quite lengthy and differently-sized tiles to blend together. beautifully. The floor prep before was very extensive to make sure the area was well prepared, as we had some irregularities he had to deal with. He was an excellent problem-solver, his years of experience were a real asset, he very descriptive any time a question was asked about the process, and his communication skills were top-notch. The baseboard work also was terrific. He indicated there were adjustments in the work to be made because some walls were not completely straight. Jonathan was very personable, easy going and flexible to work with and exhibited a high degree of professionalism throughout the job. We are very happy with his work and would gladly hire him again if needed.

My wife and I could not be happier with the work that Jonathon did for us. He was always friendly, punctual, very professional, and responsive to all our concerns. Every thing Jonathan did was on time, on budget, and of a great addition to the value of my home. Since the original bathroom tile is discontinued, Jonathan found a coordinated pattern that he could cut as required to smoothly blend with remaining bathroom tile. I found Jonathan to be an artist, a professional, and a genius with tile. I just hope I can get him again if I ever need tile work.
