He needed $80.00 for materials. I gave it. He did not stick to his timeline. He had a death in the family. I worked with him on days he did not show up or call. He said he could not scrape it all because it was too well stuck in places. He said I needed to rent a 30lb scraping hammer for 2 hours. I did more than that. I rented one for 3 hours. He did not finish all the scraping. A week and a half after he was originally supposed to start did not go well. The days he did show up, he only worked 2 - 3 hours.. Then, he wanted $120 for the work he had done after about 4 days. I paid him. When he didn't show up on the next Monday, I called him. He told me the amount had to renegotiated. Well, I told him not to bother to come back He claimed I was taking advantage of him because I didn't tell him it was stuck in places. Who is the expert? He saw it all. He stood on it. He gave me a price. He bought about $20.00 worth of materials. I have not seen any receipt for materials. He did not fulfill his verbal contract. Not only has he been paid $120.00 of his original $200 estimate, I paid $65.00 for a 30# hammer for his use, I paid $80 for supplies not received. DO NOT USE HIM.......COMES IN WITH LOW ESTIMATES BUT DOESN'T COMPLETE JOBS FOR THE PRICE, THEN ACCUSES ME OF CHEATING HIM. He has told neighbors I cheated him. Well, we'll see
