For the most part it was okay but there was some shotty workmanship. I'm really not pleased with the details that he left undone. He put the bathroom sink cabinet in prior to tiling the floor. Now the part that's under the sink towards the back is not grouted.
We didn't talk about painting the walls so they didn't get painted. Now it's problematic to try to paint around everything.
He also didn't take off all of the old flooring, so the tile's a little unlevel.
Response from Eagle Eye Contracting, LLC
"This house is old and she did not want the floor fixed prior to the work being done. She purchased the vanity after I tiled the floor and I had to redo some of it. She was a very difficult client and had an unrealistic expectation for so old of a home."

We had a wall repaired that was very badly water damaged (over a period of years - we didn't know it was happening). Mark repaired the wall - insulated it, installed new wallboard, put new stucco on the outside. It's beautiful job.

He also replaced all our windows. The work were done in a very timely manner and beautifully installed. They fit beautifully and the house is quiet and warmer now. Two of the windows were huge old plate glass picture windows on the back of the house. We had these replaced with narrow windows high in the wall with built-in shelves below them. He did a lovely job on this change. The windows which were there previously had drapes which had been opened maybe three times in twenty years because of the glare.

He replaced our three skylights with double paned ones - the old ones were single panes - and it turned out one of them was actually cracked! This work was done quidkly and the new skylights are tight and also let in a lot more light.

Mark also installed three exterior insulated doors and security screens. All very nicely done - tight and well fitted..

He cleaned up all the messes after each job - and at the end of each day. He and his helper were always couteous and as quiet as the work permitted. They always asked permission to use a radio, use the bathroom, and things like that. I made sure they had plently of water available in case they hadn't brought enough - the desert is too hot and dry to risk dehydration!

I am planning on having him remodel a small room into a laundry room this next year. I won't look for anyone else to do any renovations or repairs.

The entire remodel took about 3 weeks. It was exciting to see the progress every day! The contractor and his helpers were very reliable and professional. The contractor took a great deal of pride in his workmanship. I think our bathroom remodel project was well worth the money spent. I would definitely recommend this contractor for  any remodel project!

My experience with them has been excellent. They were accurate with their estimate. Once they get you in the queue and start the job they follow through and finish it up before they move on to somebody else’s work. They do a nice and clean job. They clean up after themselves. They are a small company so they are easy to deal with. They are responsive when you call them up with a question. We are thrilled and very pleased with them.
