DR. DAN'S COMPUTERS

All I can say they did right by me.

This was back in late summer during COVID 19. It took 10 days to order the battery and I took my laptop in to have it installed. I worked internationally, so am on the computer up to 8 hours per day now on Zoom meetings. Within a week, I realized the battery wasn't working and was only giving me 2-3 hours, when normally it should be 10-12. I called the store and talked to the staff person who installed it within 2 weeks. The warranty was for 1 month, so he said he would notate it in the system and I could come in and leave the computer to reorder another one for a free replacement. I couldn't leave the computer for a day or two, so he said "no problem"; They documented the problem and would replace it with another battery when I was able to get in. I brought it in when I finally had time to not use it for the day (I have no back up), and the owner opened my laptop, said the battery was bloated and not working, but he refused to agree to reorder and replace the battery for free, since he could find no notation in their system that I had called 2 weeks after I received the battery. I told him that it wasn't my fault that his staff person hadn't entered the information and asked to talk to his staff person who would remember me and our conversation. He refused to call him or to agree to let me talk with him. He told me I'd have to pay the entire cost of a new battery, but he would help with labor costs. This is infuriating!!! Very bad customer service. I have been using Dan's for several years and they have lost me as a customer. A faulty battery they installed; I called within the warranty time and was told it would be honored and when I could get in due to COVID and my business that was fine. When I finally got in, I'm told it's not in their system and I can't or he won't check with the staffer to confirm that I called within the warranty time. Horrible manager! Don't go to Dan's Computer. Try another local business that deserves your business and will follow through.

Did a good job, would use him again

The man we dealt with was extremely helpful. Wiped the computers while we watched so no questions there. Even paid us a respectable amount for these old machines.

They tried but were unable to clear it off. I would have had to wipe out my entire hard drive. I decided to leave it as is.

Brought my computer to them to have a virus removed. When they returned it they told me it may not have worked and they may need to wipe out and reload my whole system since it was so corrupted. They informed me that if I needed a system wipe done in the next 30 days, they would only charge me the difference between a virus removal and a system reload. I did need to bring it back and they held to their word.

They have a very quick turnaround and seem to do quality work. I gave them a and quot;Band quot; for professionalism because the person who assisted me for my first visit seemed to have a slight attitude, nothing major but noticeable. Everyone else was great.

THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SHOWED UP ON THE TIME WE HAD SET. THEY DID VERY GOOD WORK, AND THEY DID IT QUICKLY. I WILL USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN IF NEEDED.
