Horrible experience. Not only was our house severely neglected and damaged as a result of this manager's stewardship, but when we tried to get the property manager to do what he was contractually assigned to do we recieved no help (namely give us back the security deposits collected in our name). The rents were collected on time, but I don't think that had anything to do with the manager's work. When the house was vacated by the tenants a huge ammount of work was necessary to make repairs and do cleaning (far beyond normal wear and tear). The manager wouldn't perform an inspection and wouldn't return the security deposit to the owner as was stipulated in the contracts. Not only that, but he repeatedly overcharged us for monthly services while the house was being rented. The manager was so imcompetant that the gas and electric tenant/owner hold was not even put into place eventhough it was signed and sitting in his file - this results in gas turn-on fees. The escrow deposit that the manager collected as well as deposits that were refundable to the owner (totalling several hundred dollars) were not repaid and needed to be brought to court to get back. This manager is NOT on your side and will take every opportunity to dodge responsibility and not do what is contractually obligated of him.
