I like them pretty well. The interaction with my pet is great. It's hard not to like my pet. They've done a great job keeping my pet healthy and they do it for an okay price. They do about as great a job as one can do. The wait time is not very long. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a week.

Dr Williams performed a thorough exam on my dog.  He is 6 now so I needed to find a permanent vet for him.  She told me services he would need in the future, but didn't try to have me do any services that he did not need now.   She explains everything very well.
Very honest and professional and really cares about the animals.   The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, as well as the vet technician.

The staff and both vets are caring, compassionate, just awesome!   Even after vaccinations I received calls to check up on my little pup for possible reactions.  Would never trust anyone else with my girl!!

Dr. Vigil-Smith and her staff are always kind and gentle and patient with my dogs.  It's the caring and quiet attitude that both my dogs and I respond to.  In addition to the physical exam, Dr. Vigil-Smith and her staff always ask about our exercise regimen and our diet(s) and anything out of the ordinary that might have occurred.  Desert Hills treats the whole dog (and me, for that matter.)  They are a very professional and caring practice.

Everything good overall. Nice staff, very professional. Dr. Williams saw and cared for my pet. She is a good communicator and I felt she was very knowledgeable. Good follow-up after visit. Plan to use their services again.

They actually did the first check-up for free. That was great. They recommended some products but they didn't push any sales. We had that all done. It was good. They offered the service for free and it was cool.

I don't think I've ever met a vet with better bedside manner than Dr. Smith! She has been truly amazing with all our animals. She and her staff are always friendly and compassionate toward animals and, when necessary, their human counterparts. We've taken all our cats and dogs to Dr. Smith for everything from routine check ups to curing ailments to end-of-life treatment. She and her staff have always been professional! Dr. Smith has accurately diagnosed any problems our pets had and resolved every issue in an expedient manner. If you love your pet, you'll love Dr. Jennifer Smith!

I used Dr. Smith at Desert Hills about 4 years ago to help put down my very old cat. It was the best place I think I could have taken her. Everyone was very caring and patient. The place is quiet and it feels very personable and welcoming. We recently got a new puppy and have taken her there twice now for exams and booster shots with Dr. Williams. Dr. Williams is also great and down to earth and explains everything very well. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Smith is the sweetest, most caring and gentlest veterinarian I have ever worked with. She truly cares about helping my pets, and she's always gentle with them. I don't want anyone but her to help my animals pass. She makes a traumatic experience less painful.

I am very particular about the people I have take care of my animals. I have a service dog and another rescued dog as well as two rescued kitties. When we had to put our oldest doggie to sleep, Dr. Smith stayed with us as long as we needed her. We were not rushed. The staff was also very tender and caring for our doggie as well as us. Dr. Smith takes wonderful care of my animals, but the whole staff shows care and concern. I am VERY pleased with Desert Hills Animal Clinic and although they charge slightly more then other vets in the area, their personal attention to our beloved pets is worth it. I would highly recommend them to anyone who loves their pets!

Excellent service. I was able to get an appointment within a few days; the vet was very caring and concerned about my dogs. The staff even split the pills for me, a first in my experience! The assistants all seemed to be interested in taking good care of the animals. I will be taking my dogs there for further treatment and overall assessments.

Dr Smith examined my cat, as did her vet tech, and figured out what her problem was, explained to me in detail what she needed and what I could expect. Got me the medicine needed. Told me what to watch for and when to bring her back if I needed to.

Dr. McCarthy was really nice and extremely gentle with my cat. She suggested a different medicine that she thought my cat could tolerate. I respected her opinion and advice.
