My overall experience with them was good. They filled the prescription and they give good service. They give life time adjustments. I can just go back inside the counter and readjust them. They give really good life time service on the products. They have the best price on lenses and they have a great selection on frames. They provided great service once I got the glasses. I think they have the best price.

I go there because it is convenient. They are excellent. I call my prescriptions in and they are always ready and the pharmacist is always available for questions. I just like using them and will continue to use them.

I like them. I switched to them because I was having problems at my other pharmacy. They have been every efficient at getting my refill requests and having all our medications ready on time.

Costco does a good job! I find them to be a great service. We have not had any problems with our glasses purchased from there.

I was very happy with it. The turn around was reasonable, the cost was good compared to others, and the quality was good. They transferred the tapes from a video recorder to DVD. They did 3. I give them high ratings and would continue to use them in the future.

He was good. It is something I don't enjoy doing but I have to do it anyway and it was good. I also got my glasses from Costco. He was professional. The office is a little small; I wish it was bigger but it is fine.

I have had glasses from Costco on multiple occasions over the past 8 years. The clear bifocals have been fine, though on one occasion the optician made the reading area of the lens too low and too small, despite my clear instructions to the contrary. The friendliness and patience of the staff varies; one or two of the long-timers are fantastic, but I had one optician who was impatient and, as noted above, ignored my preferences/needs, as if she knew what I needed better than I did (at 50+ years of age, I know what my vision needs are). One suggestion and one complaint: I would avoid polycarbonate lenses. I have found that they tend to distort more as you look off-center. Unfortunately, Costco ONLY makes sunglasses in polycarbonate, which I found not fully satisfactory. For example, my current sunglasses are only clear in distance vision right above the bifocal line. Above that and they distort. Thus I have to drive with my head slightly elevated, which I have gotten used to but should not be necessary. In my experience, high index lenses work out better for clear glasses, and if you get sunglasses, be prepared for optical quality that is slightly below par. Prices at Costco are far lower than at regular optical shops, on the order of 1/3 the price, in part because they don't charge extra for the basic anti-reflective and anti-scratch coatings that are universal now. Frames are very fairly priced, and if you get the brand-name frames, are of good quality.

The price was right, but I got what I paid for. The progressive lenses did not preform correctly. I got two replacement lenses, then gave up. Tried Walmart.

Audiologists at Costco are not on a commission, so they do not push a product or any more than I really needed. I saved $3,000.00 by using Costco as opposed to going to another audiologist associated with either a chain, private practice or UNM hearing center. Unlike other tests I received in Albuquerque, the hearing tests at Costco were automated. Little was left to chance like the tone or nuances of the tester's voice.

Auto Tires
$400
I went in to buy tires and selected some that were at the middle of the price range, and made sure that they had them in the correct size for my vehicle. The tires I chose were around 60 dollars a piece. I have been buying tires for years on my own for all of my vehicles. When I went to the counter to pay for the tires, I was told that they would have to check some sort of weight rating on the tires, and was told that my car was too heavy for those tires and they would not sell them to me. I am a very busy mom and I had the money and the time right then, so I ended up with a tire that was close to 100 dollars. I have never in my life been told that my car was too heavy for a tire, and I have never been told it was a possibility. I feel that I was mislead, but I have not investigated this issue further.

I was looking at paying over $3,000 for hearing aids. Looked up the best brands at the NIH website. Went to a provider who pitched these aids. A friend of mine who is an audiologist for the VA, told me to go to COSTCO. He tells all his patients to go to the Costco at this location, for it has the best service in all of Albuquerque. I did. The tests were all automated, unlike the ones I took at a hearing center. The aid that the audiologist recommended was half price for the two aids recommended by another provider. The additional performance of the top rated brand was overkill. The audiologist recommended a fully digital behind the ear type with a plug. She fit me by taking an impression of my inner ears for the plug. The performance is outstanding.
