They come about four times a year, and I have been using Cornell Services for probably twenty years or more. I have been happy with them. They have been very reliable in terms of keeping track of when these Pine Tip moths are in the area and been laying their eggs. They will destroy all your new growth every year and they go into the egg-laying phase a couple times a year. They have been very good about it. I have been pleased with the service. I think the price is probably fair. I have not used anybody else so I have nothing to compare it with, but I think for the labor involved, all the chemicals, and coming out here with their truck and all that kind of stuff, I think the price is reasonable.

Cornell brought in a tank truck with a very long hose.  Operator spent the morning individually spraying every tree and every shrub on the property.

Went well. Diagnosed the problem I was having, and sprayed trees while he was at my house.

Showed up on time, every day.  Stayed on the job till done for the day.  Even ate lunch in trucks.  I was here for all the work, and I saw them work very well as a team.  Jay, the owner, is personally up in the bucket making the cuts.  They treated my trees, my property, and more importantly my goats and dogs as if they were their own.  I will never use anyone else for my trees.  I am also going to use them for weed maintenance now.  It was a big job and took several days.  They are such kind people I felt a little sad to see them go.  I have rebuilt most of the 2 houses here, and was usually dying to get rid of the crews.  So that is saying allot.  I cannot forget to mention that every single tree looks like art work.  He made them beautiful.

They were prompt and came when they said they would.  I felt it was a bit pricey for the short amount of they were there and the amount of work they did.

I think they do a very good job.  I've had them do the service for me for several jobs.  They've always been very prompt and notify me of when they are going to do it.  They send me a bill after and I pay it.  The only complaint I have is they do not include an addressed return envelope so I have to go find an envelope to send a check and return to them. I don't have another service to compare the price to but it seems very reasonable.

Our experience with Cornell Tree Service from the initial estimate till the cleanup of the yard was excellent.  Access to our backyard is very limited.  This did not pose a problem for them!  The tree was taken down piece by piece, cut up and hauled out.
Our neighbor asked for some of the smaller pieces of wood and the gentleman stacked the wood (over the wall) for their use.
They did an excellent job triming the cedar trees.  We are so pleased with the results.  Their team is most professional and took every precaution to insure that there was no damage to our home.  We have contracted with Cornell to provide landscape maintance for us in the New Year.

Cornell was doing work at a neighbors home; we asked them for a quote. We found the quote to be reasonable and on par with previous quotes we had received.  They were able to perform the work the same day. Well done. Would use them again.

The team was on time and very professional working safely with chain saws and trimmers. They all had a speciality and performed it on the yard. I know the job was tough around the holly and ivy. The planting they did and bark gave a great appearance to help show off the back yard. Thanks for people that know how to get the job done.

Cornell shows up when promised; they perform their work competently and professionally and their charges are fair and reasonable. We have a couple of huge trees that are dangerous to prune. Cornell is great for this work.

First, they came and gave us a cost estimate and when we agreed they scheduled an approximate time. They called to confirm the final date and time; cut down the tree; removed all of the material and cleaned up afterward. The cost was the same as the estimate. Good work. I would use them again.

Excellent!! Jay and his staff did a great job on the trees. Jay took the time to explain to me what he was going to do, how he needed to prune the trees in order to make them look good and continue to grow properly. I am a perfectionist and seldom find others who meet my expectations. Jay and his group exceeded my expectations. Not only will I use Cornell Services again, I will recommend them to everyone I know! Thanks, Cornell Services, for doing a super job!!!

Very prompt--next day free estimate. Did the job on the following day. A three man crew had the proper experience and equipment to get the job done safely. Cleaned up the jobsite very well.

They worked fast, but had forgotten to take my 5% Angie's List discount off of the bill-they assured me that they would do it next time. I had mentioned Angie's List when I initially called them. If you use the discount mention it to them before they come over to do the work.

Arrived on time, had adequate crew, performed work in a safe and efficient manner, checked with me before making decisions regarding how much to prune.

I hired this company to give me an estimate on removing two dead trees in my backyard. When the person came to my house, he said that the trees couldn't be removed by his company because they didn't employ "climbers" who could deal with live wires. I understood that. I would imagine that it's expensive to insure people who high in the air on ropes high in dangerous situations. Then I asked him to have a look around and recommend what might be done to improve the trees in my yard. I asked if he recommended trimming, etc. He looked at one cedar and said it needed to be injected with something or it would die. I didn't understand what he was saying, nor did I fully understand what he was injecting it with. He didn't use a drip system which would allow the tree to accept the "medication" over a period of days, instead, he shot it with something all at once - kind of like getting a rabies shot for your pet. It cost a lot. I didn't feel comfortable with the person. I didn't feel that he communicated effectively. I felt that if I didn't pay for this "treatment" right away, that this tree would die like the other two. The entire experience felt peculiar and I wouldn't recommend this company, nor would I do business with them again.
