Chris and Copperstone Plumbing are the first ones I call for plumbing, minor furnace repairs, and disposal repairs. We have some rental properties and he has also worked on my own home. He and his workers are always prompt and courteous. They have always been there for me in an emergency, and they charge very reasonable prices. Their attention to detail, courtesy and reliability make them my favorite plumbing company in the area.

For the inspection job, Chris showed up at the promised time, and he quickly but thoroughly inspected the furnace installation.  He found two aspects that needed to be corrected, both of which had to do with local code requirements and which were easily addressed.  He then started the furnace and inspected its operation, paying particular attention the gas-air mixture setting for the elevation above sea level, as well as to whether the furnace was generating any carbon monoxide.  The job was done thoroughly but in a timely manner.

A short while later, I called on Copperstone to troubleshoot and repair a different furnace that was operating improperly.  Chris was able to readily determine what had failed to cause the inoperability, obtained the necessary replacement part, and completed the repair.  The only glitch in this job was that one gas fitting was not adequately tightened.  After Chris had departed, I detected the small leak, first by odor then with leak-detector fluid, and tightened the connection to eliminate the leak.

For both jobs, Chris arrived when expected (though on the second job, he ran late from work earlier in the day and had the courtesy to call and reschedule), arrived with all needed tools, and readily completed the tasks.

This was a "plumbing emergency" situation - a leak in an outside bathroom wall caused by a pipe freezing - and it occurred on a Sunday.  After I turned off the leak, which, due to its location, required shutting off water to the whole house, I began calling plumbing service companies.  Until I reached Chris at Coipperstone, all the companies I called said they could not come for between three and seven days.  Chris was available that afternoon.  He showed up on time, completed the repair in a quick but workman-like way, all the while exhibiting a pleasant demeanor. Both he and his assistant were conscious about cleanliness inside my home.  For himself and an assistant, for about an hour's work, on a Sunday, he only charged $120 in labor.  There have been no problems with the repair since it was completed.
