For several years, we have been Comcast customers. Most recently, we have been charged over $100 per month for services that we certainly do not receive. While the company will proclaim that they provide high speeds above 30 mbps, this is not what we have received. We have not been able to download anything (suggesting a speed well below 3 mbps) and we certainly cannot do any kind of video conferencing or download movies. When we have called about the speed and amount that we have been charged, the company does nothing. In fact, we were out of commission x 4 days with no internet and the company did nothing. They did not even credit our astronomical bill for the lost time of service. If you are relying upon you internet for business, Comcast is not your company.

The workers were very good. They worked very fast and were on time. Their Internet service is very good and I am very happy with it. I would recommend them to a friend. I might switch to other providers in the future.

;My 12 month internet promotion ran out and in order to receive a similar price I had to sign up for cable. The original internet price was 49.99 w/o tax. After my discussion with 2 separate customer service rep's at Comcast I was told that my price can be lowered to 49.99 +tax from over 70 if I sign up for internet and cable. As it was the only option given I decided "why not". The cable box arrived within days (fast) and I followed the instructions to no avail. The cable box did not work even after I spent 45 min with tech services. At the end I was told a technician has to come to our home to troubleshoot. No info was provided that I have to pay $50 for the technician.
Two days later the technician shows up, very friendly and professional, troubleshoots the issue and informs me that comcast made a mistake and set up the box wrong in their system and there was nothing I did wrong. I confirmed several times that this was a comcast issue and he agreed.
I had to call comcast in order to confirm the new billing amount, but it wasn't set up correctly or changed to the new amount yet, so they asked me to call back on Monday. Again same on Monday. I called back Tuesday to be informed that I have to pay higher taxes than before and additionally $50 for the technician to fix Comcast's mistake. The Service Rep was unresponsive and did not want to change the bill; as her tone changed to I would call it a mixture between annoyed and rude, I asked to talk to a supervisor. The "supervisor" informed me that I can receive a $25 credit, which means I still have to pay $25, for Comcast's mistake or pay $50. So they told me in a rude manner that I have the option of paying for their mistake either $50 or $25 and that is it.
Comcast - good internet speed but lousy and unprofessional service. If there would be another service provider I would switch. No I think, I'll switch anyway.
