I used CERL on a number of mold inspections and for testing. They did great at providing results needed and going general inspections prior to home purchase. My only recommendation is to call CERL to review the report with them as they are difficult to understand and they are careful how they word things as they have to be careful working in Santa Fe with some much property bought and sold. I plan to use them for future testing that I will need done. I feel they are the best in town and well work the cost of the mold inspection to know what your purchasing.

I hired a company to determine what it was; CERL. The pricing was fairly minor - it was under $200.? I go back and forth between two houses.? It's been so difficult getting workers on this to even give me a bid.? The whole thing's really confusing in my mind.? They found the worst kind of mold you can find, so what the he**.? For responsiveness, they were very good.? They came out very promptly.? He seemed very professional and the report itself was quite good.? You understand, it was apparently only to determine that there was mold and what kind it was.? They didn't establish the extent of the mold, which gave me quite a range of bids later on as people both overestimated the possible area and underestimated it, but I don't think that was their job.?

CERL squeezed us in and was able to hurry the report back since we had pending inspection due dates. Given their comprehensive findings we found out significant mold was in the HVAC system and in the crawl space. Given their report we had a mold remediation bid and it would have cost 20-30 K. It was also good to know we had high allergen counts as well in the HVAC duck system. Paying for the report was well worth the money and I will be using CERL again for a mold inspection before deciding to buy a house.

The people at CERL were very responsive and understood the urgency of the situation; they were able to schedule both tests in a very timely manner and communicated all the necessary information both to me and the company that did the mold remediation. I did think their fees were kind of high, but then I didn't have any other quotes to compare. Overall I thought they did a great job and definitely hire them again if the need ever arises.

They were very professional. They did mold assessment for us and got the results back to us very quickly, answered all my questions, and made recommendations on who to call to get the work done.

My experience with them was very good. My only problem with them was when they were going to be late, they did not call ahead to let me knowand I end up waiting at the address for an hour before they showed up being that from Santa fe to Albuquerque is about an hour drive by the time they called me it was to far to drive back. Cost is sample dependent. The technician comes out and they test places in the home that may have asbestos and this is used to determine the price. So price would vary per home. The price for this was expensive but it was reasonable. At first I though they had great customer service but they just send out the technician to put down the radon and the radon takes 48 hours. Their report was great.

I was very impressed with this company from start to finish. They were very helpful and even tested for toxins I did not inquire about. I was given a very detailed report on the house and was even sent a new one when the original was misplaced.
