Call Dave

Everything went very well.

David is a really nice guy. He's trustworthy to have in our house, nice to our dog, and performs the work to really high standards. He's also really good about cleaning up when he's done. Neither our sink nor our door were emergencies; they were planned upgrades, so we were able to talk with David about what we wanted and what the time and costs would be. Every estimate and suggestion of his were right on.

As with any remodel work, there were some unexpected challenges. I coordinated subs for electrical, plumbing, flooring, and Dave handled the rest. He helped with timing and handled tearout, carpentry, drywall, and cabinet install. Also installed a cabinet in a sunroom. One issue was that I ordered a cabinet that fit perfectly into the corner of the bath, without considering how it would actually get into the room. Best solution was to remove the door and part of the wall. Dave handled it with aplomb, and it only set us back one day.

Dave installed a pet door between and a sun room and screened porch through a stucco wall. Inside is concrete board. Door was installed prior to tile install on inner wall. He cut through stucco, MDF, insulation and inner concrete board wall to install the door. Took a bit over two hours. Extremely nice work.

Dave recently fell from a 20 foot roof and was recovering for several weeks, so he was not as timely as we had hoped, but he told us that soon after he fell. We was still wearing a brace when he came to do the work.

He is a really nice guy and does high quality work. He is a true craftsman and a very skilled carpenter. He is not cheap, but his work is well worth the price.
