California Closets of New Mexico

Fabulous! Organization arrived and My life went from ugh to good and getting under control of frustrations. The people involved on the phone and in person plus the installation crew were very pleasant, professional and efficient. The designer Gwen met with me and looked at my closet and was able to quickly draw up a solution then present material color samples and schedule the installation. The coupon on Angie's list was applied and voila Heaven.

The closet looks great and is very functional!  Ron was great to deal with.  He did what he said he was going to do; the job was perfect.  I would most definitely refer friends and family.

Designer came out. Listened well to what we wanted, and gave us a tailored plan to meet our needs.

Workmen came out on day agreed upon, and did a very good job at reworking and installing new elements to complete our new closet.

There were a couple of small glitches but nothing major; the problems were fixed with their next trip into the area.

The existing clothes racks started coming off of the walls. Went to the Home Improvement show on January 18th, talked to Ron at the booth. Told him what had happened and what we would like to do. He gave us his card and told us to call the office and setup an appointment. On the way out of the show, we called the office and got an appointment for January 23rd at 10:00AM. Ron came right on time and measured the closet, ask us some questions about what we sort of clothing we would be putting in the closet, like racks for long clothes, shoe storage, how many drawers and shelves. He put together a computer display right there so that we would have a visual of our closet. Picked out the wood that we liked for the shelves, drawers and sides of the racks. Setup appointment for February 11th at 9:00AM to have them installed. In the mean time we cleared everything out of the closet, repaired the walls and painted.
On February 11th Julian got there before 9:00AM and started installing. He was very efficient, clean and professional. Was completely through by around 11:30AM.
We absolutely love the new closet system. Would definitely use California Closets again and recommend them.

We had a very good experience with California Closets in ABQ. They have a nice showroom and Ana Young did a great job of taking care of our needs. She visited our home and took all the measurements, then designed the best layout for all our closets.
Julian the installer did a very good job of installing our shelving and always has a smile on his face. Service during and after the job has been excellent. We would recommend them and use them again in the future.

If it wasn't for the custom counter-top, it all could have been installed it in about 2 weeks. However, my counter-tops are old, so they were on order for a month to customize the color and size. I found a formica that matched my counter-tops so well that no one has noticed the difference. My parents say it looks like it's been there the whole time.
The installers were on time (okay, about 10 minutes early) and brought all of their own equipment (a bad past contractor experience). If you have small kids or pets that don't like loud noises, I would highly recommend you to send them away for a couple of hours. I chose to stay just in case they needed to confirm anything with me. It was an interesting process to watch. The whole thing took about 2 1/2 hrs and they were very good about cleaning up the scrap pieces of wood and wood dust. They even polished my cabinets and counter-top afterward and gave instructions on how to care for them. I would absolutely use them again.

The install took two days. Estevan and Cruz are real pros. Very professional and conscientious. Also patient with me while I decided where to place the units and grommets. Worked very clean and wiped down everything.
Would highly recommend using this company. Now I'm looking for other areas I can get organized.

I don't have a lot of time to put to this, but I was overwhelmingly pleased with the whole experience. My only criticism is that I wish that the installer had vacuumed up after the installation. But that is a very small criticism.

The designer, Ron F, was very attentive to my needs for the closet and spent quite a bit of time working with me to get just the right design. He answered questions and explained options well and without any attempt to boost the price - I really felt like it was all focused on meeting my needs. The installers were absolutely delightful - they worked quickly, were very professional and pleasant, and their cleanup was immaculate. The closet system is absolutely gorgeous - well worth the investment. These aren't inexpensive systems, but the work of this company made an amazing difference not just in the closet but in my everyday life. Start to finish, the process, and the result, were flawless.

I think this company is excellent! They did a very nice job, and I plan on working with them in the future.

Working with California Closets was a very good experience. Godfrey, Martha and Esteban were all wonderful--professional, kind and reliable. I started my efforts thinking that a contractor I work with (who is also very good) could outfit the closets. After he & I put our heads together and started trying to figure out the layout and cost, we simultaneously (almost) had the same thought--that this closet organization idea is more complicated than we first thought. At first I assumed (incorrectly) that California Closets would be too expensive, but figured I might as well find out by having them out for an estimate. I was clear that budget was a concern, so I asked for pretty much bare bones--the most basic shelving, no drawers, doors, etc. But for my house and purposes, that is exactly the right product. I am enjoying my closets and I would definitely recommend working with this team.

My experience was great! Their sales staff is awesome. They came when they said they were going to, did the job, and were in and out in 4 hours! Everything went smoothly, as expected! I loved it, and I loved them!
