The teams were both hard-working & professional, and worked quietly and checked with us as needed as they went along. Because of the heavy furniture & books, etc., both teams had a lot of heavy work--but the carpeting team had an enormous amount of work, since they were covering about four times the surface area of the vinyl team. They came, they worked, they did a really good job in both cases, very thorough. In real world terms, both jobs were perfect. I would unhesitatingly recommend C & C carpeting to anyone. They extra work required of the carpet team was significant. Their work was truly outstanding.

We purchased a very good brand name carpet and we believe the carpet that was installed is not what we ordered. The carpet stains very easily and began to get wrinkles in all of the rooms within two years. We are having this carpet removed it has performed so poorly, and this was not a cheap carpet. A commercial grade glue down carpet was installed in the home office and glue stains were highly visible at a seam that ran down the middle of the room. We ask them to come back out to fix the stain, but they would not do it. Overall, just a horrible experience and I am very sorry I ever used this company.

I went to a shop to buy the carpets and the flooring. They contract out their work so it was contracted to C & C carpets and I was not very pleased with them. It has just been a nightmare working with C & C carpets. They put the vinyl down, it was okay in the two bathrooms but in the kitchen it got bubbles over the area where the patch had been done on the slab. They came back, shot some glue I guess underneath the bubbled areas and tried to pound them out with a hammer which didn't work. So, they said the problem was because there was too much moisture where that had been repaired and waited for that too dry out. I would say probably they came back and checked it for the last time for the moisture sometimes in September and it still was too wet. At that time they suggested that we go with tile because with tile it wouldn't matter if it was moisture under there. So, my son-in-law went with a sweeper and swept up all the old flooring and put it down to the concrete. Then he, my daughter and my grand son-in-law put the tile down. It was not a good experience working with C & C carpets and I would never use them again. They gave us back 1173 dollars to take care of the kitchen floor.
Response from C & C CARPETS
"The installation in questions had a very high moisture content in repaired area. The customer had plumbing issues that required removal of existing concrete in the area in question. The company they hired to remove and install the concrete did not pour the concrete properly. Before the installation of the vinyl we explained the issue with them, they were aware of the high moisture content. We recommended either getting there original contractor who dug a 3'x3' 1 ft deep hole in the middle of the kitchen to come back and fix the area or install tile, but they insisted we install the vinyl. We were sub-contractors on this install and it was the contractor not C & C who gave them a refund. We did everything by the manufacture standards."
