The boss left 2 workers immediately, and of the 2, an older man did most of the work. The younger one spent a lot of time blowing leaves. Something I could have done for free. Boss comes back for a minute to collect the check and leaves again. The tree I asked them to trim was a very large tree, but very climbable. The boss said they couldn't climb above 20 feet because of insurance, but it seemed more like 10 feet was the limit. I had to stand with them and guide the process, instead of letting "professional landscapers" make the decisions. Their pole chainsaw broke half way through the process and the boss never came back. The workers didn't have tools to fix the chainsaw, so I went and got them tools. It was clear that they weren't sure how to fix it. The younger one used my grand old tree as a crow bar to put the chain back on, scarring the tree. The tool broke again within minutes. The younger worker said he would tell the boss what happened, and maybe come back the day after to finish the job. NEVER heard from them again. It's a scam. Unprofessional.

I bought a groupon for them and tried them out. They did excellent work but the prices were not upfront. I paid $150 for the groupon and I ended up paying $180 over that which wasn’t clear. They said they would do two hours of work which I had agreed to and they did 20 minutes of work and I ended up paying $180 for that. I didn’t feel that was very honest work though the work was good. I was really upset with the financial bit. I think they were not very fair though the groupon was good. They came in late and that bugs me.
