The installation was perfect. No problems. Very professional and friendly workers. We have had no problems with the equipment. We started the service on July 28, 2017. We paid for the equipment and installation up front, $1160 and pay $62 per month for monitoring. We have never had an actual break-in, but have accidentally opened the door after the alarm was set. We always got an immediate call to check if everything was ok and had to give our password. The locally owned company sold in February I think. Can't remember exactly. We hadn't had any oops! alarms since then until a week ago. Again, the door was opened after the alarm was set. I was calling them to say it was ok. In the meantime, before I got ahold of them, the monitor person called and since I was calling them, got voice mail. He left a message "Hi, Armed Response Team. Your alarm went off. If you have any questions call me." I am paying their high price because they send an armed retired policeman and call APD. I was furious. if you have any questions call me........ Sure I'll call as soon as they finish raping or murdering me. Then yesterday we did it again. I didn't call them because I didn't want another voice mail, so waited for them to call me, which they did - about 15 minutes later. Certainly not the service I am paying for. I am debating whether I am going to continue with them. We were very happy until they were sold.

My yogurt business was broken into and alarm was working properly just fine with no troubles. No one ever responded to my business and I lost several items and cash. When I called the office, Catherine the manager was rude to me and hung up the phone on me., I was then told I would get a call from the President Mr. Meurer and I never received one. I since then have changed to a local monitoring company for $30/month and I have been treated with dignity and respect. This company does not provide anything that they promise to people.  After not calling me back, while I was a customer I had received some false alarm reports saying officers came by and I do not believe that ever happened.   I trusted this company to protect my business and they failed. I know several other business owners in Albuquerque who have canceled their service also for similar reasons. When a customer pays over a $1000.00 a year for a service and is treated like this, it can ruin their reputation fast! The Albuquerque police department informed me that they have hundreds of officers and vehicles to respond to the city. The Armed Response team has 4 company vehicles to respond to over 3,000 customers/alarms.

Armed Response performs inspections of our burglar alarm and fire alarm systems annually, however for the past year or so we have had over 25 false alarms due to wiring and motion detector problems. When Armed Response tests the burglar alarm, it is more of a superficial test. I only find out about wiring or motion detector problems when the alarm goes off when it's not
supposed to, the police are dispatched, and I get a call late at night. These frequent disturbances cause a great deal of stress for myself, the residents, and all of the neighbors as well.
Worst of all, Armed Response calls me whenever these false alarms occur, instead of calling the resident directly. They also frequently call the wrong tenant, creating stress and unnecessarily alarming them, as they assume it is their alarm that is going off, when in actuality it's someone else's alarm.
The price for service is also quite a bit higher than for other providers. They charge about $96 when a service call is needed. One service call was nearly 2 hours long and the problem is still not fixed.
Response from Armed Response Team
"Thanks for your comments, and we really appreciate our ability to work with you to resolve the issues you were facing. We also appreciate that you continue to be our client, and relying on us to protect your buildings."

We've had this service for about 3 years, and my biggest complaint about them is that for the rather high price we pay for monitoring (approx $800/year) they do not even come out once a year to check all the equipment. We had equipment problems in 2013 and we had to pay a $75 fee for them to check out the problem. Maybe I'm wrong to think so, but equipment malfunctions should not be charged to customers. I've also had 'phone calls to their tech line go unanswered. [I may be mistaken about the date of service, but I had to put in something. Could not really remember the month and day in 2013.]

At first the installation was good and response was good then we began to have trouble with the connectivity. When the alarm went off line we could not get in touch with anyone. When we finally got a hold of someone we were told that wireless company was doing away with 2G and we needed to up grade to a 3G wireless for 150.00. Did not think this was right why did they put in old tech in the first place. This is 2013. So after they put in the new 3G the wireless connection still went off line so they had to switch to another wireless equipment from Verizon. They tried to bill us 200 dollars more for this. We called and complained and the bill was waived. Not very happy with service and we are actively looking for someone else.

The house already had wiring that had been disconnected, and the hardware was removed. They used the wiring and put in a new command center, keypad and motion sensors. They were efficient and returned to give us more instruction after the installation.

We have had them for a while. They have their own force of retired police officers that respond to our alarms. They cover 10 or 12 windows and doors. There is a glass breakage alarm. It is excellent. I will continue to use. I would recommend them to others.

I love the fact that all the employees are ex-police officers and that they respond to alarms before they call APD. I have never had any problem whatsoever and I sleep much better at night knowing that they are there if I ever have any trouble at my house.

I have been using them for a long time. If my alarm goes off, they are immediately en route to my home. Their cost is a little more, but their responsiveness is worth it.

I am 100% pleased with them. I like that they don't make me sign a contract and I like that they respond before they send the police so I don't get false alarm charges. Their customer service and installation tech are the best I've dealt with; I've used at least three other companies. I would give them an A+.

Been using them for 8 months.
In addition to the alarm service they have retired police officers who respond when an alarm goes off so you don't have to wait for local police.
Very reasonable pricing as well, and no contract required.
Technician was neat, clean and on time.
Very professional and polite.

I used them for a year and then I cancelled them because I asked them to come out to my house and check everything for me as I was going on a long trip. This was just before our contract was up. They said that they would be here at 15:00 and they did not show up. I called them around 16:00 and they said that they would come on the next day at 15:00 as an emergency had come up. There was neither a phone call nor anyone showed up the next day at 15:00. There was no update from them. I cancelled them on the 1st of June and signed up with another service provider.

I talked to at least 3 different companies. This company's price was a tad higher, but for the service I thought it would be worth it. The person who came out seemed very knowledgeable about the product. This person was also able to point out differences between their company and others. The person made us confident that we were going in the right direction. They did a great job. I will use them again in the future.

ART installed our home alarm system approximately 1 year ago. We called last month and asked them to send a tech to go over the system with us and check to make sure all was OK. The appointment was sheduled for the next day, to arrive between 2:30 and 4:00 pm. At 401 we received a phone call that something had come up and the tech wouldn't be able to make it that day (after we had waited since 2:30), could they reschedule for the next day at 2:30. We agreed, and waited the next day. They never arrived, and we have not yet (5 weeks later) received a phone call from them. Assume they are still in business, but will be looking for another alarm company before our contract with them expires.

They are extremely professional and they show up when they say they are going to come. They call when they are suppose to. They showed up when my alarm was going off and I had no idea it was going on.
