Because the broken part was inexpensive but demanded a number of hours of labor, my husband and he decided to try duct-tape to see if it would hold, with the promise that he would come back and apply the $90 visit charge to a full repair if it didn't work. A month later, the duct tape failed. We booked another appointment, which he needed to cancel due to a medical emergency. Three weeks later I contacted him to reschedule. No response for a full week. Then he said he could no longer do Saturdays (the reason I originally was referred to him, for Saturday service). Frustrating, but so be it. I booked on a day that I could take time off work. I had to reschedule from a morning to a late in the day appointment. He said he'd try, but had to give priority to a client that had a freezer issue. No call back. Done with him. He clearly does not want to honor his agreement to do the job correctly, and will not prioritize me as a customer, despite his canceling on me and providing horrible customer service.
