Great experience

Because of my bad past experiences with pool maintenance companies, I kept waiting for and quot;the catchand quot;. It never came. I thought they were going to and quot;get meand quot; on the fall shut down when they said they would have to send another person later in the week to complete the shut down process. The second person came and completed the shut down, but they did not bill me for the second trip.
They seem to be very competent in all aspects of pool maintenance, their prices are reasonable, and they were fair with me.
They were generally prompt and otherwise professional, but could improve in this area. For example, I stayed home from work to meet them on the day they were to repair the main valve. They did not show up. I called them to find out why. They told me they would probably not be able to make it that day because repairs on their service truck were not completed as scheduled. There were a few other minor scheduling issues and a couple of my requests were forgotten until I reminded them, but ultimately everything got done to our satisfaction.
I plan to ask American Pool and Spa to service our pool during the 2013 season! They are by far the best pool maintenance company I know.

the first two years of maintaining my pool was done properly. However, the office staff was never friendly and at times difficult. The last two months the maintenance crew could not figure out why my pool would not stay clean. They even blamed me for not maintaining it between their visits. I called another service who figured out the problem on the first visit. I think if the maintenance staff had called the owner he probably could have figured out the problem as he is knowledgable. But they never called him to help. Instead they wasted a lot of my money and time my family could have been using our pool. I would never call them again.

We have been using this company for 4 years and they have always been responsive and done a great job at a fair price. no complaints. will continue to use them as they are reliable, dependable and friendly to deal with. Nice to have a vendor you can count on when there are so many out there that you cannot trust or count on.

Payment came in under estimate. They were prompt, courteous and pleasant.

They arrived on time. They did the work for the price that they quoted us. Their work was excellent. They not only checked out what we wanted replaced, but they checked out all our other supplies that might need to be repaired as well.

The experience has been good. What I've really liked is they've been responsive. When they did something wrong they were willing to work with me to correct the problem. They are friendly, and they show up when they are scheduled to.
