Each space reflects your lifestyle. Life styles change over time, in the 21st century most of us live more casually than our parents did. We wish to have a more open living arrangement with the hearth or kitchen more central and open to our living areas allowing the cook to be part of the activity and the others to congregate around the kitchen. Most of the homes built in the 20th century are more formal and consist of rooms that are enclosed and separate. While some people still like that arrangement many wish to change it. Our goal is to work with you to design and construct a project that is right for your taste. Kitchen Design by AD&R Good design is a matter of getting the walls in the proper place, creating well proportioned spaces(width to height) capitalizing on views, solar energy, function and relationship to other spaces and the outdoors, and the traffic patterns or way people move through the space. Once the arrangement of these elements are addressed we then look at the style our customer wants be it modern, Santa Fe, country, eclectic etc… We work with color, texture, and scale to create beautiful relationships between flooring, cabinetry, counters, backsplash, walls, ceiling and other aspects of the project. We have been designing and constructing additions, bathrooms, kitchens both indoor and outdoor, fireplaces, patio covers, whole home remodels, and landscaped gardens for 16 years. We love working with our clients to develop projects that make their lives more comfortable and beautiful. Many of our clients have started with one of the jobs mentioned and have returned to American Design and Remodeling for all of our services mentioned.
