They showed up pretty much at the time they said that they would. First, they said it was an old lock, and I had a deadbolt, but they were able to get in. They went down to the van and ran the credit card. I had them leave their tools as collateral while he did that. I got my spare key to see if it would work in the door, but it did not. Instead of offering to re-key it, he said I’d have to get new locks installed, so I did. The service tech was unprofessional in his manner. I feel that they overcharged me, after checking with other locksmiths that the price would have been less than half. I plan to file a complaint with the Attorney Generals office for overcharging me. I have been told by other locksmiths that they are known as scammers.
UPDATE 1/11/2013:
The issue was successfully resolved with a greater than 25% refund. I recieved $180 back. I bargained with him by stating my capability to report him to BBB and to Angie's List. Ultimately, we went back and forth and he finally gave in. Furthermore, when investigated, I found other reports against them from other agencies.
